Hi, I'm building a new town bike for my girlfriend, and having decided that the frame I was going to use isn't good enough and with her birthday looming, I'm after an alternative frame.
So I'm looking for a reasonably lightweight, step through ladies road frame for a girl who's about 5' 8"I'm in Manchester, so a localish frame would be awesome.

Thanks adroit. But I think I'm going to splash out on some tektro R556 Dual Pivot Calipers.
They're about £39 posted.
Here's a link to some...

Scratch that.

I'm in Manchester, so I'm unable to collect easily.
If you'd be ok to post I might be interested.
I've got some old weinmanns laying around, but I was after something a bit nicer.
What are the ones you've got like?
Have you got a pic?
Or if you can give me a brand/ model I'll Google that.I understand if you're not up for posting. Most of the lfgss southerners aren't normally up for it.

For sale.
21" 1960s holdsworth frame.
Having been in touch with Hillary stone, he's informed me that this is a monsoon.
I've had a bloody good look and can't find any serial number anywhere on it.Got it in June, and still haven't done anything with it so its up for grabs.
Comes with headset and bb, although it'd probably be best to replace them.
And also the rusty milremo cranks.
No pedals, or wheels.
They were just on for the photos. It's nice and light, and would make a great little restoration project.
£60 or nearest offer, if you think that's too pricey.
Pick up from Manchester -

I think he's given up on selling here, and decided to put his stuff on eBay.
I've had no reply anyway.
shame really as he'll incur all the eBay costs when he sells on eBay.
a bit of time with a tape measure and a digital camera and I reckon he'd have easily sold loads of frames.
