I reviewed the extensive jp documentation on this mk6 golf prior to purchase but couldn’t see anything about the timing belt having been done. I’m going to dig through the docs again in detail but if I can’t find it should I get that done as a matter of priority? (13 y.o. / 60k miles)
if you couldn’t confirm definitively that the timing belt had been done, presume you’d ask to have it removed from the price and then get it done as a matter of priority ?
are ponds good or bad ? I have an old water tank from my loft which actually looks quite nice and I was thinking about perhaps recycling it as a pond in my garden… but won’t do so if having a pond is (1) a total pain in the arse or (2) loads and loads of maintenance
does carvertical give you decent information on imported cars? potentially going to look at one which has extensive service papers but they’re all in japanese and it’s a private seller :/ interested in whether there are better (cheaper) alternatives for checking details on car
