Hi all. Kinda related but different. I have just fitted these forks to my pre-curse and all seems ok except the gap between the bottom of the headtube and the top of the forks.

I used the crown race that was already installed on the forks which looks a bit different to the crown race that came with the headset.

Could this be the issue, or is this fine to ride?

Is chainline being out by 2.5mm gonna be a big problem?

I have a 54cm Pre-Cursa, 170mm Andel fluted cranks, Un55 105mm BB and rear Quando hub (Varno build).

Will it give me a useable chainline (OR, how do I find out how to calculate it before fitting it all and hoping for the best)?

First bike build for 10 years so I have forgotten everything.

I'm interested if Woah isn't.

Advice wanted: What size BB for a Pre-Cursa (current model) with fluted Andel cranks?

Just found out via Bruce’s fb. Knew him from SE drinks. His story via fb always left me in awe at how someone can just never give up, and come back strong. I really thought he would always beat it. Sad to lose such an inspirational guy.
