I had some pedals like that... Might still have them - I'll check when I get home from work and let you know if you want. They came off an old MBK bike, which is french, but I'm sure they fit on an set of English cranks (? trying to remember after many part changes). Where are you located? If I still have them it might be worth you trying them and if they fit I'll take a 5er for them?

Ha, no worries. But, to be fair, she'd need wheels, a chain ring, cranks, chain and might be worth replacing the bb if she's going to ride it loads so I'm sure you could get her to spend the other £340 :)

I have an MBK (have painted over/ peeled off most of the decals) mixte frame with forks, full mudguards, seatpost, quill stem, handlebars, front and rear brake (no levers or cable) for sale. Can probably take all the bits off if you only want the frame...

Any more news on the accident up Brixton Road?

There was another accident on Acre lane this morning - I went through at about 9:40 and there were like 4 cop cars, 3 ambulances and 3 fire trucks, it didn't look like a cyclist but there was a blue sheet being held up and pedestrians talking about internal bleeding?. The traffic was horrendous today.... but that'll explain why if there were 2 accidents in the same area within about an hour of each other.

update: no more crankset or chain....

There is also a wheel set that I can throw in now - back wheel has a multi - speed cassette currently. 60 quid for all that.

I also have an IRO crankset (46 teeth, 130 BCD), brand new chain and a pair of pedals for another 50 quid.
