Not exactly there, but my sister is Balcombe no that fair away, its a stunningly beautiful area. Some fanatastic roads and Ashdown Forest is on your doorstep. Ardingly do a (or did at least) a South East England show, which is proper Daily Mail.

You can get the train direct into the city from Balcombe, Redhill, or Three Bridges.

If I was moving back to Sussex, I'd look around that East Grsintead / Crowborough / Balcombe triangle.

I'm not sure, it just wasn't me and didn't feel it was confidence inspiring as a very new beginner 100+BHP is quite a lot, the delivery is much more choppy and the gearbox not as forgiving as than the inline 4 of a Honda (admittedly there's a huge reduction in bhp between the 2), found the suspension super soft (I'm 90kgs) so the handling wasn't as sharp as I thought it would be - admittedly it was a 2012 version with 49k on the clock. I found the seat height quite low (i'm 6ft 1) and being a naked its windy AF. The nail in the coffin was hot restarts, it just wouldn't start when above 4/5 bars hot. Made petrol stops a day out.

Funnily both my biker mates said get a CBR600F (one has a VFR800 the other a CBR600F)- something with fairings and narrow-ish for filtering, I didn't listen and wish I had...

Picked this up last week - CBR650F - did 100 miles the first day, a lot more confidence inspiring than the Street Triple as a newbie rider.

Got this F+F up for grabs, as thought and now subsequently confirmed, gone are my days of riding fixed.

The Good

Really nice Bob Jackson 631 Frame + Forks, the rear stays are oversized and ovalised and look pretty good and the fork is the newer straight bladed design - not sure on the age of the frame, would guess mid naughties but maybe wrong. Its a 1 1/8th Headtube with straight TT -paint is like a champagne, it has a patina and would describe it as good condition - 6/10.

The Bad

This one ding to the underside of TT - see below, and a tiny one on the top of TT which is hardly noticeable.

Will include FSA headset which spins smoothly and also the miche BB - square taper British threaded.

Clearence wise, I've currently got a 25c on the rear (Conti) and 23c on the front (Conti). Confident you ciuld get a 25 on the front too, 28c is just slightly too fat to clear the front fork.
