I still remember rep so my long term memory is not too bad.

I ordered a blood pressure monitor 3 months ago.
I put it ib a safe place.
I have spent the last two months looking for it.
I can’t for the life of me remember where it is, to the point I am on the brink of ordering another.

Yesterday I cycled from my new Essex home to East Beach, Shoeburyness. It beats cycling to High Beach any day and I much prefer dodging pedestrians walking on the cycle path to worrying about the ten ton lorry coming up my backside.

I also timed it to coincide with high tide, so could go in the water.

I'm definitely living my best life, although it's on a hybrid not a fixie.

PS I can do this every day of the week if I choose. Not restricted to weekends.

I’ve ordered some walking sandals from Decathlon and will see if they transfer well to the bike.

Please can anyone recommend some sandal type shoes for cycling in (no cleats)? I’m looking at doing more short casual rides and want something I can wear with a dress (!) / normal clothes.

However, I found I started to get rustling noises in my ears (which I also sometimes get when I use my earphones) so I cut my use of them. It is probably just my body being weird, otherwise I found them okay to use.

RIP HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh. Often you don’t realise what you have lost until it is gone.
It might not be a popular opinion on here but I am very sad at his passing, and am currently grateful for the rolling news coverage.
