A (good) roofer will fix this, probably just slap some CT-1 on it and charge you £500 but it is working at height…

Took me a couple of hours with a wire brush on a drill followed by a pressure wash to get a similar sized gate ready for paint.

Did consider dipping it but it takes a similar time to get it to the dippers and back as it took to do the job myself manually.

Do you mean homes rather than houses? Or actually houses, not flats? Bedrooms PP feels reasonable, as folks can't / won't downsize, homes and houses I'm not sure - we were importing around 5k people a week relatively recently, and all of them need to be housed somewhere.

I guess it depends if say there had been some even more catastrophic accident than Chernobyl, or a whole load more Chernobyls and Daiichis, and your faith in the 'fuckedness' of our situation due to fossil fuel burning.

I guess the worst with nuclear is very, very, very bad and easy to picture, the climate effects of fossil fuel burning, less so.
