That add is suspicious and the seller may just be an idiot not being able to get the size, not only because a bit of a google and tape measure would fix him, but mainly because mine has the size printed on the seat tube so I assume all/most others do!
What groupset is on the stolen one etc? If its stock any extra info like groupset, pedal type, any bottle cages, any light brackets, any computer/mounts etc would be handy as 2010 CAAD9's arent that uncommon in the area, I have one and I know at least one other local rider with one so it would be good to narrow it down a bit.

Not sure if I've ever introducted myself on here, I dont post much.
I used to be riding a Fuju track but mostly these days I can be spotted either riding a stealth black Cannondale CAAD9 road bike or a Cinelli Vigorelli w/ Mavic Ellipse wheels. You can spot me all over, from the city centre to flogging myself up in the peaks
Although spotting me atm is likely to be a rare event as I'm not getting out much at all.

Very interested in this. Will have a look at my bank balance, could do with selling off a bass/guitar and possibly my old MTB first, but I might be able to wing it...
Cool, just let me know, I'm right in the city centre near piccadilly station or UMIST. If you do wish to buy, let me know a day or so in advance so I can swap the current build back to the stock build for you (Its only a half hour job but I'm in work till 6-7pm most days, I'm assuming you are interested in it in the stock state) - I'll have a look see if I have any bar tape I can throw in, to re-wrap the bars but I cant guarentee I do have any as I recently use what might have been my last roll.

How much for the Fuji Track? What's up with the back wheel?
Regarding the Fuji, I can sell it on one of two (or a combination of either) ways. Either fully stock, in whch case I'm looking at about £170 (can negotiate) as its only 1 year old and well maintained (2009 model bought last january - I have all of the original documentation also).
The back wheel is a bit buckled, it rides okay, but I'm pedantic and would replace or rebuild it.
Alternatively, I can sell as it is currently built,
Frame, Fork, Cranks, headset, bottom bracket, seatpost and seat all stock, Profile T2 Wing bullhorns, Cinelli Pista stem (80mm: but I also have a 130mm) Cane Creek TT200 brake lever, Shimano 105 (black) front brake, brand new never been riden white Tifosi track wheels, brand new 16t cog and brand new SRAM chain. in this case I'm looking for about £340 (again I will consider alternative offers).would you take £80 for the wethepeople and il come pick it up?
Any chance you can meet me halfway at £100? (I have all the original documentation too if you care for such shit) If you want it, I can drop it off for you or you can collect it, I'm in the city centre.
**WANTED**
**
Bullhorn Handlebars / Taped or Not** (Nitto RBO-019 ones ideally) Anything else decent would do.
Looking to pick them up from Manchester City Centre so If you're looking to post - no can doodly do!Im in the city centre and have a pair of Profile T2 wing base bars (bullhorns) that are 44cm centre to centre, but they are flat style rather than drop and have an oversize clamping area. Your probly not interested in them but if you are, I also have stem(s) that will fit them if you dont already.

Prices are indicative and are based on what I think is a fair assessment based on condition and current new selling prices, I dont have time to check the second hand market out thoroughly so please take prices with a pinch of salt, offers/negotiation is of course welcome.

Ah, nevermind. I often see a guy on a cream surly and messenger pack around piccadilly. Dont think I have seen you about, not that I recognise anyone from here actually :P bumped into Voidcore once but I havent been about on the bike myself for a while, rear wheel pringled in a crash at the start of Rusholme. Got taken out by a car turning into the side street where the Shisha bar is on the corner near that new(ish) Ichiban restaurant in ~May/June, only just got round to sorting it out, just in time for the sh*t weather.

I agree with both of you, hah.
If you have absolutely no clue, then try riding a geared bike to ballpark it is a good idea, you are still going to have to guess within 2-3 ratio's to take into acocunt the qualities of riding fixed anyway, so still might end up buying a few cogs before getting it just right for you.
If you have some idea already from the gearing you are currently using, then just buy a smaller or bigger cog. If thats not right, buy another.
At the end of the day, its not money wasted, because you can keep them and then gear your bike to suit where you are going to ride in the future. (Or bang one on the other side of the hub and flip the wheel as an when you feel like it)
I just stuck with the off the peg ratio on my Fuji.
-
I own an uglier Fuji track than Voidcores :P but I'll throw my 2 cents out there anyway:
Riding fixed isnt the same as geared but it will give you some incidation ^^ If you consider flywheel effects, straighter chainline etc, then you can usually push a gear a couple of ratio's harder on the fixed for pretty much the same effort as riding a geared bike. Riding geared then finding a gear you spin on your usual terrain most comfortably, then choosing a ratio 2 higher or something is good for riding (but probly wont help as much with choosing something for skidding around easily).
Plus your ratio is going to depend on the type of riding you do, I ride 48:15 (approx 84") on my fuji track, its fast and comfortable but there is no hope of skidding around (for me anyway).
With skidding there is a way to work out how many skid patches, you simply simplify the ratio as far as possible and the denominator indicates the number of skid patches. This assumes you always use the same leg possitioning to skid. Check Sheldon Brown's site out for explinations in more depths. but one example, I ride 48/15 so this will simplify down to 16/5, meaning this ratio has 5 skid patches.
Wheelset still for sale
Sorry to post these again, not had time to try flog them lately, dropped price a bit, could be a good buy for someone local who can pickup and dodge postage cost! Nearly finished my new build, could do with some cash to get stuff finished up before the summer is over :P
Will have a few other items up here soon, 3 stems (2x Cinelli Pista in 80mm and 130mm, and a 3T 125mm), some 3T drops, unused and taped (oversize clamping area), some Profile Wing TT bullhorns, a Tifosi carbon seatpost (31.8) and a few other bits and bobs, details to follow when I have time to take and upload some pics etc.
