https://www.lfgss.com/comments/16407273/Failed to enter. We are moving house and so it has been manic.
Today, due to my ineptitude the packers have packed my Fuji X100, so I am sad. I am hoping they packed it one of the ¨Just Whizzing to London box, not the ´store until we work out where we are going´ box.
I am sort of glad I didn´t enter, some really lovely photos this week -

No, but you should weight them appropriately.
And unfortunately in the current circumstances there is a lot of "trusting what you are told" to be done. You (and I) are not, as far as I am aware virologists, epidemiologists, or anything else that gives us a unique view on this. We have experts who have studied and worked in this field for decades and we have to accept that their knowledge is more detailed than ours.
Of course you should not be unquestioning, there are very real and difficult questions about whether the courses of action that we are taking are sensible. There are definitely questions to be asked about speed of vaccination, what level of death is "acceptable ,about whether vaccinating the world's population is necessary, achievable etc

Looks like we are going to be kept locked down over here in NL amid increasing numbers.
I think that if you are still testing positive after 10 days here you are deemed to have "recovered". I further believe that that is likely to count as one of your two vaccine doses if you are at that stage.I got an on-spec booster when I was in the UK Over Christmas. Had no intention of doing so but accompanied someone getting theirs and the vax team said "Why not get one done" and doubly so when they heard my initial vaccination was J&J.
I had realized this was likely to be a record-keeping nightmare but was frankly scared enough of Omicron to ignore that and think "I'll just get another booster in NL" but actually have come up with a pretty nasty armpit rash that suggests that maybe I won't :-)

I would again recommend the Huberman stuff on weight loss, lots about the fact that it is calories in/calories out but there is more that you can do about calories out than JUST exercise. There aren't shortcuts but there is help.
One of his recent guests, when talking about longevity rather than weight loss said that "You should never feel hungry was one of he great lies."I managed a small 22km ride yesterday and going to do the same today. Not much bit it has me moving

For me, I think I was a bit triggered by the "I know the rules but I think my car is important enough that I can ignore them" and thought that it was amusing given the reputation (deserved or not) of owners of 4x4s.
Other peoples choices are easy to criticize, and I am sure that this is indeed easier than a smaller car with a family. When there were 5 of us I drove an Espace, an enormous car which was useful at the time. I hope I would not do the same again but who knows, I am not in that position.
Anyway. no such thing as bad publicity. Hopefully it is sold by now
