Hi,
I am looking for a front wheel with something along the lines of a Deore m595 hub, but a rim that will take nice narrowish tyres like 23s or 25s. I guess I will then want a similar thing on the back :-) but I can't mention that as it'll probably have a big 10 speed cassette on it...
I don't seem to be able to find a factory wheelset that comes in these sort of sizes... Is there any reason I can't find a nice wheelbuilder and ask them to build a set of something like this?
Many Thanks
George

I'm going through this at the moment too, after not being the tidiest in the world when taking out a seatube from a steel frame with caustic soda.
I am still at the confused "enamel v powder coat" stage, but suspect that I will be swayed by the fact that there are a lot more powder coaters than enamellers around.
What do you need to do about the threads on the BB? Do they mask them, or is it more complicated than that?
George
yes, and it does depend on what you are going to do with the new room... I /think/ that the building regs say that bedrooms have to open to a hallway/landing rather than another room..
