Might be international bidders in action. Sellers on the forum usually offer pick-ups or just UK post. Premium dorrah for willing to pack and send :) The NL guys seems to be quite good at it.
Further, somehow posting a frame via DHL is just 35 EURO to Asia/Ozland while from the UK it's closer to 100 quid! Might got something to do with the location of their distribution hub in mainland Europe :)
Pricey? Or justified bidding war on this? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270622269686&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
Similar frames been going on here for £125 recently.

Just to clarify 54 center to center and 58 center to top perhaps?
Measurments.
...
**seat tube: 54 cm c to top of seat tube. 58cm c to top of seat tube
**...In any case, decent price and almost a steal, love the rear stay, love the tubes, and at 350 for the lot, just add wheels and saddle + post and you are ready to roll :)

TBH, varno's wheelsets are quite offordable and I do agree with hugo7 that plenty of Wanted ads are placed for wheelsets and thus he is just filling a void in the market and at the same time helping out forum members.
As for the eBay rule, the important thing is even if he sells on eBay, correct me if I'm wrong, I dont think he has ever posted a link here, and he seems well stocked and it is unfair if he just rely on the forum to sell his wheels. Furthermore, he is not just hawking a single set of wheels, he has plenty to sell and thus the question of double-selling a single item is also out of the question ;)
At times discretion and "substance over form" should be given due consideration before just throwing the book at someone. That said, I feel the rule is in place to prevent one-off sellers or those who are trying to use the forum to gain more bids on the items they are hawking on the bay and not foremost for the benefit of the forum. Thus refering to point 1. varno has been around for quite some time, and as of now, no shoddy dealings have surfaced from those who purchased his wheels and he is indeed helping out this forum fill the gap for wheels :) Fair enough for me as a keeper.

2nd pic a little bit of a suspect, the toptube to headtube looks like it has been welded and the covered with some paint/marker. BIN is low thou, thus if the frame is write-off salvaging the parts might still be worth it :)
Dura Ace AX stem plus a couple of other ok bits:

Possibility that you might not get the frame even when you won it? Surely a breach of rules?

Hmmm... Nice. Contacted Velocio about it? Might wanna transfer this to the bad traders thread instead of making it a WANTED thread. That said your thread with the wanted prefix kinda gives it the Wild West feel, I can so imagine his face pasted in the middle of the poster! LOL! Btw, what's the reward for the information? Cheeky banter, no malice intended!

Not a spoke, but plenty of carbon + clinchers too :)

Hi Federico (Macheda??? LOL!),
I might be willing to part with my Specialized set. Well used but have not been ridden in the rain before. How soon you want it? Moving down to London in Sept and if you can wait till then, maybe you can have a look at it and make me an offer?
Not been using them much since converting from road to fixed. They are still with QR axles although the skewers are now hex keyed ones. A later model Specialized QR set which I got off the forum could be swapped in if you prefer it. Will throw in a pair of used Vittoria 23c tubs, very little use and holds air well, took them off to reglue them back but never got around doing it.
You might have already known this, but just in case you dont, both rear and front are the same spacing, although you need to replace the axle and bearings if you want to run the both wheels as fronts. PM me for photos if you are interested...
Regards,
Benjamin -
