I am going to try and make it. I have been crazy busy and my track bike has been out of commission for over a week, I am not sure if it will be able to fix it by 8. Will I be ostracized and have derailleurs thrown at me if I show on a road bike?

Hey Ladies!!

I am somewhat new to the forum, and equally as new to England. I am an American fixed rider and I just moved to Newcastle. I know there is not really any ladies riding up here, but if anyone is in the area I would totally be in for a ride or traveling to go for a ride! Something nice about having ladies to ride with.

Oh and I prefer riding steel. As for my current steed, I on a far too small IRO frame, as I am a long legged lady, and somewhat disproportionate body (58 legs, 53 arms) so custom is the only way to go for me. And unfortunately (yet still fortunately) I have only a custom road bike...which you can see, if anyone is interested in some pictures of lady riders of Baltimore!!

I am moving across the Atlantic to your humble city in about 2 months to begin my PhD (from the US) and I am looking for some people to ride with and somewhere to live! Anyone need a flatmate starting in August?
