I was thinking of using clear touch up paint for cars, it's kind of pearlescent so I don't want to daub anti rust paint on it.

I'm fixing up a '77 champion mondial, awesome paint job, but a bit beaten up. Anyone know a good way to stop rust in small areas, while not respraying the whole thing?
