Picked up this frame the other day.. guy I bought it from found it while clearing out a house that they rented out so knew very little of it. Has campag B/B H/set though I realise they could have been fitted at any time... The forks and rear of the stays appears to have been nickel plated... I bought it with the idea of reliving my fixie skidder days.. I didn't realise it had vertical dropouts... Bummer any help identifying appreciated.

Yeah I saw a couple more going round the Island seem quite quick, You can buy complete kits eithr 50cc or 80cc straight of the bay! Who will be first to do it?

@ Dan i know i should have known better tis but a tenner to have it media blasted but though i would kill an afternoon and have a go myself, i didnt want the tubes to have that slightly pitted effect you tend to get from blasting, However I have done some research today and this enamel shizzle is tough stuff!!! of to the blasters this week! Cheers squeak I have some one local who'll do it You booked Shell Island yet?

Anywho, Have been wanting to do a "naked" Bike for a while and though i would use this gas pipe Raliegh I was given.
So frame stripped and so on.

After two hours of using this namby Pamby (and not cheap) Paint remover tho only thing stripped is the ink of the stickers!!

This has to be one of the longest gestation period of any bicycle i have ever built, Just checked my PM,s I picked the frame up from 44/17 last march and have been building it for my mate ever since!!

Details of MTB ing...
I and my friend shall leave Birmingham in two vans on friday the 1st of june.
We shall become drunk and probably stoned until sunday then ride the trails at Coed Brenin... probably very slowly and I envisage pushing my bike for quite a lot of the way!
Return to Shell Island and try and chat up girls who cannot escape the island after 10pm cause the causeway floods....
Im booked in and anyone else interested will have to do so quickly cause they get full quick!!

I think i would definately be running at least front brakes to start with things can change pretty quickly on the trails. Going too coed brenin whitsun weekend if you wanna try crashing in front of a witness.....
