Matt, if you can find the goddam hipster risers I reckon I'll give them a try, it'll give me something to practice with even if there isn't masses of leverage, reckon atm that's the least of my problems... ;-)

Just got myself a boys racer to turn into a polo bike, so I am in the market for:

Some cheap as chips risers, anything will do

A left hand brake lever that will fit on aforementioned risers (again cheap as chips please)

May also need a rear brake but thought I'd wait and see on that one...

Really don't have much money so don't care at all about looks/tattiness/working fantastically, as long as they do the job and won't actively kill me ;-)

Nope not really... I have a pretty basic runaround fixie but I wouldn't really want to use it for polo coz if it gets messed up I won't have any transport for uni! I reckon I'll be pretty rubbish at polo anyway as I'm a bit nervous...

I'm not sure how many people will be around on Tuesday (depends on how many are back from Germany) and the following Sunday there is potentially a big tournament in London (if it runs over from the Saturday).

Either way, if you come along on a Tuesday or a Sunday most weeks to watch, someone will definitely lend you a bike and a mallet to have a go!

OK cool! I'll be living on Catharine Street which by the looks of things will be about 2 mins ride from the court you use... so I guess I'll just swing by :-D
