While on the subject of gardens ...
I want to build a trellis and a horizontal slatted fence - probably of varying widths and frequency of slats.Any recommends for sawn British hardwood at cheap cheap prices?
I want the end result to not look to clean/designed - but a sort of rustic minimalist look. I was thinking some waney edge stuff from an actual saw mill maybe. -

drinking in the Warwick
I used to play pool in there occasionally mid/late 80s.
A friend’s dad made good and they moved from Se14 to Kensington Pk. Rd.
There used to be 2 pool tables - one for money games - I played on the other.
Old Jamaicans playing with short cues from the hip. Deadly.First pub to have CCTV all the way back then because of all the dealing going on. (Citation needed)

While we’re on the subject of boiling water ...
Anyone have favourable experience of knock off Quookers?
Having used them in the houses of ‘posh’ clients, I’ve desired one for years, but I can’t afford one.
Marginally more efficient than a kettle (especially in my house where it gets used all the time).
But really it’s all about the convenience- isn’t everything? -

In some reports I read during the trial he was referred to as an Ex Police Officer.
Which seemed rather disingenuous as he was removed from the force to stand trial for a fucking murder committed whilst he was on duty.I can’t remember the last time a UK policeman was convicted of manslaughter - although there have been many deaths in custody.
The police really need to work on their clearance rates.

How many screws do you need to cut?
Agree with Airhead - go as slow as possible, it’s the build up of heat that kills the blades. Cutting/drilling faster doesn’t cut the steel any quicker - the opposite in fact.
If there’s any way to get coolant in there (just water will help) that will make a difference- or stopping and quenching the blade.
I have a big reciprocating saw that will cut through screws with a bi-metal blade, but sometimes a hacksaw works best. -
The Jungle grill used to be the Camberwell Grill bitd. I ate most of my lunches there while on Foundation at Camberwell School of Art.
