aesthetically it has so meny conflicting angles. Bar level is slightly down, brake levers not vertical, stem slightly off compared to tt slope. Overally the fit looks like fixies back in the days when people just bought them off the tt lenght and ended up with tons of seatpost, inline post and too low cockpit.

afaik brake tab on the outer edge ("tangentially", according to david kirk https://www.bikeforums.net/15437249-post39.html as pointed to me on the other forum) is the way to do it as it resists de-raking and the braking forces in general in a better way

hmm i think you actually can use other 1 1/4 stems too
Aero gravel might be a thing now, but I think taking track bike geometry to the world of gravé might be a step too far. The non-standard 1 ¼ steerer also massively reduces the number of stems available.
