Hello polo peeps, just thought i'd let you know i'm fine.. I got glued up at A&E and sent on my way with a handful of butterfly stitches. The only thing is that i won't be able to shave for at least a fortnight so im going to be another fixie riding hipster with a moustache...
Thanks for offering to come to the hospital etc, appreciate that!
I'll see you all Sunday for the BFF! Liam, if there's a chance of a lift there and/or back in the van, that would be awesome!? -

That was probably myself, the white frame is actually an old Raleigh milk racer bought for my girlfriend that i'm using whilst my frame is out of action. I'm normally riding a holdsworth with most of the same parts.
Apart from "do a skid!" i haven't had much interaction with the Brighton fixed and singlespeed community and i see a fair few people riding, are there still regular beers or rides?
I also met a guy called Russ today near the old pier with a nice black leader bike with white velocitys. He's a nice guy and new to riding fixed so say hello if you spot him too. -

Just replaced my wheels so selling my old set;
I've got two Campagnolo - i think "Nuovo/Super Record hubs", small flange 36 hole in good condition with original quick release skewers. They look like a less shiny version of these, but im sure with some elbow grease they would also come up nice and shiny -
The rear hub has a thread for a 6 or 7 speed cassette, although there is a 16t fixed sprocket on at the moment that i would like to take off, but no counter thread for a lock ring. They're laced to Mavic GP4's that will take tubular tyres, the rims are in pretty good condition, some of the spokes are knackered though, a bit rusty and out of true and only the front has a tyre, that might just get you home. These items i'm guessing are from the 80s, they came with a frame i bought and my intention was to get the wheels rebuilt but i never got round to it.
Willing to split hubs and hubs from rims etc but preferably sell as a complete set.
Sensible offers and swaps considered and you're welcome to have a look at them (Preston Circus)
