use a box, all sorts of shit can happen if you just wrap em
Yer sorry, didn't make that clear. Plan is to wrap and then put in the box
I'm hoping standard parcel will cover it - a bit of googling and searching brought me to this site (linking incase anybody does a search for posting wheels in the future) http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/content1?mediaId=51000711&catId=400031
However, it might be worth going first class, as the less time they are going through the system, the less chance there is of damage

so do the 40mm rims not have a flat bit at all for brakes? Surely on an unmachined rim the brake is rubbing against an angle (the V shape)....kind of like this []---> V <---[] (where [] is a brake block and V is the rim and the arrows represent the direction of movement)
Some more questions:
Do the 40mm come in silver? Can the Pegasus decals be easily removed?
Sorry about all the questions....free bumps I guess! -

Tony, coming accross so aggressively isn't such a good idea..doesn't help in making people sympathise with you.....I can see where you are coming from as I have said but you haven't really helped yourself here
I'll also add, that I did end up buying a crankset off of Tony and it was a very smooth transaction with the item very well wrapped and exactly in the condition described

and as andy.w discovered it and posted it here...he s trying to blame me
I think you have interpretated it as : "So long as you don't post up the ebay link it is fine. If you post an ebay link along with your classified ad then it will be deleted"....however I think what it actually means is "Items must be advertised exclusively to LFGSS, however if you have an item on ebay, others may alert attention to it on the ebay/craigslist thread"
Easy to see how it could be taken either way
-
***If you are selling your item via eBay or another site, and the audience is not restricted to the forum membership, then you should NOT post it on here as it will be deleted (read the first paragraph of this post again). Exception: Other people are allowed to discover your eBay advert and post it in the [eBay/Craigslist finds](http://www.londonfgss.com/thread6.html) thread, but YOU should NOT do this***
To me that could possibly read: If you are are selling an item on here and on ebay, then you cant post your ebay link on here.
Or
it could mean that any posts which are also sold elsewhere will be deleted BUT you may sell stuff on ebay, not have it advertised on here and people may find and post it on the ebay thread
It could do with some gentle rewording to stop the confusion which has been caused here

you guys are registered on way too many cycling related forums
and, even if so, why using different screennames?.. nevermind meOnce this name entered my head, it was simply too awesome to pass.
Baggy - whaddaya mean nobody takes me seriously? I'm a serious cyclist!!
Reckon jonnyrau will be given a ban on here or will he just have to live with the bad rep?

I didn't think he'd sell it, I told him NOT to sell it as i would get in shit like this!
stop responding i need to wrap stuff
Unless you and your brother were seperated at birth and he was given the arms and the balls go tell him what you have done is wrong and grab the goddam bike. Apologise to him and then you should consider doing what I mentioned above.
I have a right 105 in black, 10 speed....doesn't sound like that is much help though!
