I know it's the realm of anoraks and panniers, but CTC membership includes 3rd party insurance. In case you plough into the back of someone who gets upset about it.

I have one of them, absolute boil in the bag beast.
Might take lycra leg warmers, definitely taking roubaix arm warmers.

Oh and on a side note what are you guys doing re. tools/ spares and clothing - I'm going to wear bibs with jersey and shorts over bibs. Maybe take a long sleeve for later on and a rain jacket. I might take some leg warmers also, do you think this will be enough?

Even with my amazing legs Cornwall is going to be a bitch, I'm only used to Norfolk and I'm not riding a girly compact either, straight up roadie double gearing all the way. So think of it as funding my pain.

Got in at half one. Reckon I was about 5h40 in the saddle but Nick got in at 2 and was 5h45 so I might have been quicker. Less stopping to piss next time.

Don't envy you lot on fixed, that coast road was a real arse in places.

I was disappointed that you all looked quite fresh after the coast road. What time did you get back into Norwich?

Sorry, didn't see this before I left. Chris and I did a swift 30 round the villages of South Norwich, mandatory pub stop near the end.
