yours was the bianchi with purplish logos?
yeah my commute is alittle to long to want to ride fixed everyday, that intersection is a pain I realised there must be a much faster route through that way today when a girl I saw at old street round about popped up next to me on further down euston road.Yeah, that's me and my bike - purple logo's not standard issue ;-)
That happens to me loads, especially with cars who I pass miles down the road in a traffic jam that's going now where for them to meet me (on my deathbed) at a junction when I'm nearly home. Bloody swines.

spotted guy with orange hair on a surly with 3 speed sturmey archer hub doing track stands that made me worried he was going to fall off and hit me at the lights this morning.
Was that behind a bus at the bottom of pentonville road next to the Scala this morning? I think he put his foot down just as the bus started to move; I was behind you both on the chrome Pista.

hmm, after long discussion with missus, might be up for these, what's the battery life like
Hi, I think battery life is approximately 5 hours; as for the connectivity when I used them I had never had any problems and the sound quality is really good - they're a collaboration between Oakley and Motorola.
I know they're not too everyone's taste and to be honest they were a bit of an impulse buy and I was being encouraged somewhat by my friend who is an absolute Oakley enthusiast. However, they do keep the sun/flies/grit out of your eyes whilst keeping you entertained at the same time so someone might appreciate them on here.
I think the pair that that Dog wear's are called Thump's and aren't bluetooth, they have a 256mb capacity.
Cheers.

Hi,
Due to lack of use and being stored away I'm selling my Oakley bluetooth connection sunglasses.
They're "rootbeer" colour with brown lenses and operate as a handsfree kit for your phone or you can listen to your music through phone/ipod wirelessly.
I've lost the original box and instructions but I have the original glasses bag and motorola charger supplied - instructions can be downloaded from oakley.com or I'll print them for you.
The glasses work perfectly and have no marks/scratches/imperfections on the frame or lenses.
I'm based in Stoke Newington/Dalston for collection or could meet up somewhere in London. After seeing some of the posts regarding paypal and receiving payment as a "gift" I reckon cash when we meet is fair.
SOLD
before I bang them on ebay.
Many thanks.

A fixie skidder sporting aviators, a white and blue frame (I think), drop bars and rear white 'spok nailing it up King Henry's Walk towards Balls Pond Road and right into the arse end of a transit pick-up truck - there was definately some contact. I can't belive the speed you were going up that road with all the ruts and pot holes; still you made it through alive.

The paint on the rim has started to look a bit tired and sorry for itself. I'm thinking of either repainting it or just getting rid of the paint all together.
What is the best way to take the paint off? I was thinking either paint stripper or would something like wire wool work just as well?
If I'm going to re-paint the rim do I have to use a spray or are there any paints out there that are suitable to be applied with a brush?
Cheers.

Dan, were you the guy that helped me find a bike shop on your iphone at Regents Park Friday evening to pick up a 'tube? Hat and grey fixed sounds familiar.

Sorry to birng this old thread up again, however, I have some suspect chain (line) issues.
I have just replaced a previously silent chain with a KMC this weekend to find it is making a grinding noise when I pedal hard. I have checked the chain line and it looks straight, the chain is not too tight nor is it slack and the chain ring teeth look centered when they enter the chain.
This may sound daft but is there a right way up for the chain? i.e can I have put it on upside down? Obviously the chain is already lubed at the factory but should I apply more oil?
Any help/advice appreciated.
