Demonstrably a single speed / fixie -
I have 10 inch tv, not going to work very well next week.
A couple of buttons missing, dropped the universal remote tonight so thats buggered.
At least 15 years old, is that vintage ? -
A friend has a Coventry Eagle mixte, 531 main tubes, complete 5 speed.

Raleigh Europa frame. Well used, paint tired. 126 rear spacing, English BB ( not Raleigh ). Tubing is 20 -30 making it a sturdy beast.
Horizontal drop outs, currently on magic gearingCentre BB to centre top tube is 53cm. This bike would have 27 inch wheels when new.
The forks are not original, new headset fitted. Rear brakes and fork drilled for recessed bolts
Sold as frame, headset, forks, seatpost ( 25.4mm ) . Location Se3, needs to be collected as I don't go into central London very often.

I have been given an old wheel that want to use on an old frame. The rim is a mavic, red and green label and marked 27 x 1 1/4
I bought a Michelin world tour tire and assembled. The tube pushed the tire off and the tube started to escape.
An beaten up Continetal was tried with the same effect.
The rim diameter is 4 -5mm smaller diameter when compared with 2 other 27 inch wheels.
I think the rim is too small, why would I have rim that is a few mm smaller that standard ?

I have a nice Ron Cooper, 48 / 49 that is taking up some space. It would be lucky to have done 100 miles in the 12 years I have owned it.
Fillet brazed. no mudguard eyelets, some scratches.

Rattlecan steel forks 1 inch
steerer 145mm, thread 28mmThe fork steerer has been shortened and the thread recut. However the thread is over cut, and any nut on it is a bit loose.
These could be used on an exceptionally small frame or as a truing stand or similar. Location SE3

Fixed cheese - £5 is not enough, they are the best fit with the europa, might as well keep them.
Axle lengths answered on the next trip to the garage.

The rear was designed to have an old style cassette to screw on. It does not have provison for a lock ring, so it makes it dodgy stopping if it is a fixed.
However a screw on single speed freewheel should be no problem, it normally has a 5/6/7 speed freewheel on it any way

Front Wheel
Campag hub with skewer. Rigida grey rim, the spokes are not stainless because they have rust spots on them. This wheel has never been used so I can't commect on its trueness but looks okay. Wear on the braking surface £20
Sanyo dynamo.
This hasn't been used for about 20 years, fits behind the bottom bracket to roll on the rear wheel. Donation to lfgss.
Rear Wheel
Campag hub, stainless spokes, Mavis MA2 rim. This was bought on the forum and never used. The axle is solid and has not in good condition, the thread is gone in the area it would sit in the dropouts. Spins nicely. £20

Releigh Europa frame. Well used, paint tired. 126 rear spacing, English BB ( not Raleigh ) comes with 25.4mm seat post. Tubing is 20 -30 making it a sturdy beast. Horizontal drop outs, could combine with some other parts for a cheap anti thief bike. Centre BB to centre top tube is 53cm. bought off the forum, back to the forum £35

Chrome fork, bought to use with a brake disk. New, chrome, 1 and 1/8th, steerer 200mm long, 700c fits easily, see photo £15
Sold as 531, I can't tell, but does have cantilevers and is new. 1 inch threaded, steerer 206mm, thread 52mm Marks on paint, scratched. £20
Black rattlecan, 1 inch threaded. steerer 175mm, thread 32mm used. £10

I am not clear if you want a screw on type hub here.
I have a pair of old campag hubs, 700c clincher wheels, rear with screw on type cassette is that is what you are after. Rear may need the axle replacing to make it tidy, the thrad is a bit ropey around one of the lock nuts -
