Got rammed by a man in a blue VW Golf this morning in Shoreditch. Rammed me into the curb, but I stayed upright. Massive scratch in his car too. His woman was screwing at him, god knows what she thinks of her psycho bloke now. Traffic was slow so I just crawled alongside them for a couple of miles, making him feel silly, then gobbed on his bonnet and rode off.
Gross, but the cunt tried to run me over. 1-1.
Coming up to Old Street? If so, I saw him do it and gave him an absolutely filthy look before you pulled up at the traffic lights.

Well, I lost my job on friday but I just bought this to cheer myself up. And cos I needed a frame...

Thanks all for a lovely evening, really enjoyed meeting you all and seeing some familiar faces. Sorry I dashed off before pizza but I was drunker and chillier than expected. The ride down Swains was both exhilarating and terrifying!
Looking forward to the next.Btw fussballclub... that was you all the way cross the table right?! I believe I owe you a drink for getting us such an awesome train ticket deal!

Thank you all for a most wonderful and satisfying day yesterday. It was great to meet everyone.
And extra special thanks to those who provided the necessary salty and sugary snacks, and those that hung back, kept me laughing and assured me the hills wouldn't be the end of me!
Sorry I scuttled off at the end... visitors were arriving and booze in Victoria park beckoned. Hope to bump in to some of you on the roads, and north drinks when I make it up there.I am so proud of my bike! It made it with no problems. I'm going to pamper it today.

And once again, sorry I didn't make it. I got home gone nine, which was MUCH later than I anticipated, and just couldn't face getting on the bike and heading out again. Needed some sustenance and my sofa. Sad to miss out on coffee and cake and meeting people, but hopefully will get to rectify that before too long.

Will try and potter down at some point. I'll be leaving Muswell Hill around 7pm and I don't yet know whether I will be with bike or not: I'm doing a test run at some point this bank holiday weekend. If with, I will be there. The cakes are calling me.

IN! I have gears and hopefully I should have worked out how to put the new saddle on by then.
Which means I'm pretty keen on the idea of a mechanics group, because if I can't figure out a saddle easily I have pretty much no hope of fixing anything else! How have I never noticed that bar before? I cycle that road every day both to and from work. Awareness fail.

Or this could be the answer?
If I could have a flute playing sidekick as standard with a pedalo I'd definitely consider it.
Re canals... tried it on the road bike for the first time this evening and will not be doing it again any time soon. I'm by no means speedy but my god it was slow, and added a significant amount of time to my journey.
I love walking along regents, and it's rather enjoyable on the sit up and beg to the pub, but definitely not practical for commuting.

27 degrees? By the time we get there I'll be the colour of a lobster no matter how much factor 30 I put on. And ya'll be able to cook your lunch from the heat radiating from my face!
Think I should go and invest in a hat, and another means of attaching water to my bike. Don't think one bottle's going to cut it.
And I am also going to be paddling. Can't wait :)
