I think so. A couple meeting at coaches and horse, a couple at crystal palace, some at brick lane, else I believe the drill is find your own way to the big roundabout.

Hi, I joined a couple of minutes ago. I'm from Johannesburg South Africa. I was at the very first South African Fixie meet, which happened in Cape Town last year September. I am an old school BMXer, but also ride road bikes. I am quite fascinated with the fixie movement. Anything with wheels and pedals are fun to restore and ride.

that is crazy. cycling in Joburg must be like running across an archery field with a target on your back.

Are there any peer reviewed scientific studies of the benefits? I'd prefer to read them than marketing bullshit from manufacturers (FWIW I work in marketing and we'd never use scientific studies to back up our arguments unless they agreed with what we wanted to say).

I come from a similar background, where people are afraid of evidence.

I'm meeting skive just before 6 at Souths Coach and Horses, aiming to leave there at 6. It's probably easier to meet up there as it's only a couple of minutes from Clapham Common anyway. Can't wait, it should be an epic day.

friend of mine broke a key off in a similar lock, which apparently is quite a common occurrence.

Connected? I struggle with keys after a few beers, but staying on the bike has never been a problem.
