frame looks lovely, what size is the BB (not sure if BSAs used the old raleigh size)? if it's 68 i'll take it off your hands. :)
Free!
BSA frame. 56 ST (CTT) 56 TT
Found this in a skip while ago, was going to build it up for my girlfriend but found a step-through that she preferred.
Weighs quite a lot considering its size. Chips to paint especially on chainstay but no serious rust as far as I know. Driveside bb lockring thing still in. Don't think it's stuck but I haven't had time to investigate properly.
Headset seems ok...ish.Free to good home. Pick up in walkden (or I can probably drop it off some time as I drive round greater manchester a lot for work).

If you fancy venturing further afield then try Knockengorrach Festival, beautiful Scottish countryside, laissez faire attitudes and a lovely vibe. Tea a plenty, homemade wines, ladies in sheepskins and a step away from the cash grabbing teeny crowds, yurts, arts, reggae, dub, ska, folk, a butt naked sauna.... worth a visit just for the butt naked sauna and the cooling dip in the river.
Loads of vegans though - cant have it all your own way.
Knockengorroch is an awesome festival! so so different to any other fest out there and everyone seems happy to talk to everyone. only downside is there's not much to do after dark apart from the dance tent and Weirdigans (the latter is my favourite by far). was my first year last year and I worked as a steward, gave me a chance to appreciate how the festival works (ramshackled doesn't even come close), but have paid for my ticket this year. cannae wait. -

Dear Jim,
Please paint me Timothy Dalton having an intense arm wrestling match at Stonehenge with Oprah Winfrey as William Shatner force feeds her Spandeu Ballet cassette tapes. Also Tupac Shakur is fly tipping his knackered hot point washing machine from his rusted out blue Ford transit.
Thanks,
Chris

Isn't this a bit wrong place to sell your random stuff?
This is for bikes & frames.Have you not looked around the forum? Plenty of people sell clothing and other bits on here too, I've bought an iPod dock, American football and pair of chinos!
think Qube is referring to the section your listing is in (frames/forks) rather than the forum... -
Are the 'large proportion' of tottenham fans jewish?
Is it acceptable for a load of non-jewish tottenham fans to appropriate a word directed at them erroneously? [I, as a white male who occasionally wears a scruffy beard with no 'tache, has had anti-islamic abuse shouted at me from a car window. That does not give me a right to go round calling myself or real muslims some form of term usually regarded as anti-islamic].
Even if the appropriation is acceptable would any white man on here go round the projects of LA / detroit / Baltimore / wherever referring to every black man they see by every rapper's favourite word?
Is the y-word funny or clever or does its use make the world a better place on any level whatsoever?
That is also a bloody good point (god I'm fickle). FWIW, I'm Jewish but there is no way that I would ever use the word even to 'reclaim' it, simply because it has been used so much against Jewish people, myself included, in such horrible ways, that it's just a nasty word to use. -
Tottenham fans call themselves by the y word, and that's not generally seen to be racist, because they are re-appropriating a term of abuse that was directed at them because of the large proportion of Jewish fans they had.
But of course if you're calling somebody else it, not yourself, then it's not re-appropriation, it's just abuse.
That is a pretty good point, hadn't really thought of it that way. In this instance though, I think the second point you made is more appropriate. -
Oh dear. Not being a football fan I am not up on these things, but isn't there a racism exception for talking about Tottenham FC and its fans - i.e. it's not considered offensive when used in that context because that is how they self-identify?
Please don't confuse me with being a football fan either, but Tottenham FC is not Jewish. Its fans are not all Jewish. So, no. -
one thing to be aware of if you intend to replace the headset, some Puch forks are slightly larger than 1" threaded. as in 0.6 of a milimetre but enough to mean that you can't fit a standard 1" headset. i bought a set of forks that are now doing absolutely nothing at home as it's virtually impossible to get an austrian threaded headset that isn't already on a bike.
