The first character has two meanings - dry and fuck, which often creates some funny translations

I always wanted that book, but I was never sure if it was simply a duplication of the information on his site - http://www.rogersmushrooms.com/
I have two reference books - Peter Jordans field guide to edible mushrooms and Michael Jordans encyclopedia of the fungi of Britain and Europe.I am not afraid of mushroom poisoning as I am extra careful and even if I am sure of a mushroom I would only think of picking it if I had seen many different specimens of it and I had had a chance to double check it's doubles so I know I haven't made a mistake.
I have certainly left more edible mushrooms in the field that I have picked, just because I wasn't sure.
I heard the saying - There are old mushroom hunters and there are bold mushroom hunters, but there are no old, bold mushroom hunters!I few years ago found a very pretty looking mushroom and was convinced that it was an edible species. I chose not to eat it but to take it and research a little. As I couldn't be sure what it was, I eventually threw it. Yesterday I was browsing and I found it! - Mycena Pura - Poisonous!
I also found a whole load of tawny grisettes but as I am not an expert and I know the dangers of the amanita family I decided to leave them....just in case.
Last years hunt definately produced more poisonous mushrooms than edibles.
Here is a portion of my hedghogs.

Thanks - I am really happy with them, especially compared to last years shots.
Last year my light meter died and I had to start guessing exposure - about 50 percent of shot came out. This year I have less than 5% of shots that are too far off to use.
The fireworks were the easiest to guess to be honest as I just opened it up at f11 and waited until enough fireworks burst to fill the shot.
Now I would never go back to a camera with an internal light meter I really want a handheld one though - it would make indoor shots so much easier. -
Just got back from holiday with my new toys - a yashica 124g and an epson v500.
I'm quite happy with the scans from the v500 for 35mm, but the 6x6 seems soft and I am not sure if that is because of focus issues on the scanner or a problem with the yashica.
Tis a huge job to scan in all the negatives though!

In my opinion people should stop complaining about the police.
I don't think they always do the right thing, but can we expect perfection from everybody?
I see many other professionals who do a crap job and never get bitched about and I can't claim to have never been negligent in my own work.Maybe we should do "job swap" and see how easy it is to do
Or maybe we should do an international police exchange and have police from russia for a week, maybe that would open some eyes. -

I gave up drinking and lost........nothing
I gave up smoking and I put on............nothing
I took up long distance running and I lost............nothing
I used fitday to weigh and write down EVERY calorie in and out, weighing every gram of everything in and all exercise done and I lost 5kg.
The key was that before I was overestimating portion size and the number of calories in what I saw as small things like the oil I used to cook with. Once I started writing that down I managed to keep a good log and started losing. -

In the UK I am 100% with cliveo, but I have to say that when I first moved to Poland I rode large parts of my commute on the pavement. The attitude to cylists is such that there is no 'right' place to cycle and you are damned either way.
Now I ride strictly on roads and cyclepaths but I make a point of riding as close as possible to pedestrians who walk on the cycle path. Not to be an asshole, but on the hope that they realise where they are walking. -
Not here there aren't. In the UK I think at least 35% of races are girls. Here(Poland) less than 5%!
Usually I buy a new pair of shorts or somthing and I get back into it, but it is 30 degrees outside and I am procrastinating again!
Thursday - I WILL go on thursday! It is my last chance before my family visits on Friday. -

I'm getting really pissed off with my motivation. I cannot seem to kick myself out the house any more even though I have just finished work for the summer, and have plenty of free time. I got sick a while back which stopped me and since then I just seem to find every excuse not to go. It is strange because I love running.
Maybe it is because I hate the heat? -

That is a cheeky move. My wife is a teacher here in Poland and it is a strange place to work. She came home yesterday(last day of school) with about 40 bunches of flowers and 20 boxes of chocolates. A complete waste, but what can you do.
When I was living with my BIL he used to make loads of Peveks jokes(shops you could buy 'special' items only with dollars) because I kept all my food in my bedroom in a locked cupboard to stop him from stealing it(habitual grazer!) -
I've seen all these on ebay, but I really don't know which one to get. Probably best to get the b200 again as they all seem fairly similar but I am more familiar with the b200. Plus, I think it looks better than the others! I couldn't find any other manufacturers that used the b-mount so that limits the options.
I have a newer, 'better' fully electronic SLR, which to be honest just isn't as fun to use. I like turning the chunky knob to change speeds and not turning a wheel or pressing buttons to change an lcd display. For me the b200 does everything I need it to and nothing I don't.
One day, when I am loaded I will buy better 35mm but until then I think I'll stick with this one..........if only they made adaptors for the b lenses to use on other bodies.. -
Don't know if anybody here has experience of using praktica b-mount lenses and could recommend the best body that takes them.
I have been using a b200 for a long time and the light meter has suddenly gone a bit up the creek and I'm no longer sure that it is exposing correctly.
Which B model do you think is the best to replace it with(I would change to a better camera but it would mean changing all the lenses as well, which is too expensive for me!) -

Great idea.
Send him for a driving course and he will sit, bitter that he is wasting his time and leave probably more angry at cyclists. On a cycling course, at least he would be exposed to the reality of cycling on roads today and might gain a better understanding of road use. Probably still bitter though......

Last summer I shot hundreds of photos with 35mm hp5 and fp4 developed in ilfosol and some I liked and some not.
This summer is going to be an experiment of different film types and speeds, and I just got some rodinal as my ilfosol has gone bad - which films do you think would come out nicely?I'm on the brink of buying a red filter and trying out the sfx film.
Wow. Do Americans really still have a problem separating muslims from religious extremists? I wonder if they can see the division in their own country between christians and the super evangelists.
Religion is one thing that makes people different, but ignorance is what make that a problem.
