hello, just moved up from that there London. Started commute from W.Didsbury to town today.... got lost so if you see a fella on a Plug with risers looking like he doesn't know where he is thats me
hey dude, welcome to the forum. i used to live in chorlton, should be a similar route you're on. if you go by barlow moor road it's dead easy and a nice flat, not too busy commute in.

upload your bike and we'll (mainly me, if you have risers) will unconstructivly criticise it. im sure most ppl will have spare crank bolts, i got some, not fancy hex ones though. comeplaypolo.
polo, eh. ive only ever done about 15 mins worth of dribbling on my mates polo bike, but havent got one myself. might have to just spectate till i get my own, but if thats not too weird for you guys id like to see how its done.
about the bolts, as long as they do the job. £pint?

However, if your going to post pics of it on a message board, then you've got to accept criticism.
oh yeah, ive not got any issues with criticism, i just like to know what im going in for. ie if i buy a part that i know im gonna get trashed for.
Speak for youself Ronnie, I will openly criticise all bikes I deem to be unworthy.
aha maybe that was you on the bmx outside garratt couple a weeks ago who called my bike hipster, but wouldnt look at me when i tried to talk to him? :)
need a 27.2mm black seatpost and a stem to fit an oversize clamp and 1 1/8th steerer, any suggestions? oh and does anyone have any crank bolts lying about, that would fit a sugino messenger crank set?

im so confused. hugely new to all this, but when is it ok to chastise people for their "hipster bits"? ive been collecting bits and bobs lately (with mixed success) for a new bike and have been getting all these weird thoughts: "oh god, this carbon fork is a bit flash innit" "balls, i'll be getting stick for my bontrager race wheel and mtb stem" etc. thing is, i really like that wheel on yours and was considering something similar for my rear wheel, but dont quite think ive got the balls for it yet.

im in 109, the lock up is always crammed full but the "fire proof" self closing doors in our flat are so heavy its an absolute ball ache to manouver my bike round inside. ive started getting parts together for a new build which i'll probably keep upstairs though. i like living there too, its close to everything but rents good for the standard of flats.

i should still have dibs on that, but haven't heard from jim as of yet
