I'm selling my beach bike. A little surface rust. Been stored for 3 years approx but all works and tyres in Excellent condition.Less than 100 miles since new, if that. Based in Kingston on Thames. Suits upto 6ft plus. Lovely relaxed ride.

Above for sale. FW Evans frame (pretty sure 531) Campag seatpost and bolt, weinmann wheels< campag hubs, Shimano 600 crankset, levers (Might have original bullet holded one in shed) Campag headset. Newish stem (replaced 10 yrs ago with straight bars etc) Had it stored for 20 plus years. One tyre tiresome. other one good as gold.

Also, I have a 56' Raleigh Pink and white Mirage. 20 yrs old from new No front wheel. Once again, want to clear out...been sitting in shed for 15 yrs.

My mate had his Scott CR1 stolen from Kew Gardens on Sunday. Apparently afew nicked round there lately. Looking at flowers one minute then having your bike nicked is bad karma so hope the thief crashes and chokes on a rose bush.... also, keep your eye out for my medium Cannondale Siemens 2006 Polished alloy and black nicked a few months ago (around page 73). Very few around so stick out a mile.

Went down Wimbledon market Saturday am. On leaving this guy stopped me asking about his m/bike he had just brought and if it was any good. £100 for a MINT Specialised hardrock Sport. Small, blue, poss ladies model with slicks. Can't recall what year but way tooooooooo cheap for that bike. Anyone with a bike recently nicked may be worth poppin down there. (Do your weekly fruit and veg shop too! so not a wasted journey).

Apparently he is mailing me some receipts so i'll keep you informed. May be bluffing me so i'll keep my mind open........... a man knows his bits when he sees them!

Asked if he wanted to return them........gave me some rubbish about being a victim of bike crime himself etc etc and calling him a thief.
The fact he doesn't even know the wheel is a tub and he told my mate its a clincher....!!
Better set up a sham account.

Ebay informed. Realise there is a way to do this. Hopefully they will take them down....Someone down near me had 7 bikes recently stolen worth £25k :-(

I can go into all the reasons why these are my bits...... I am 100% and the Police are not communicating to me what is happening. Been down there 3 times this week and still nothing. Ebay require the Police to make contact not me.

If the police don't act this afternoon I'll put links up to my parts on eBay being sold off...that way no one having my babies!!

There may be some developments but if little happens i'll post it up in a couple of days and we can bid them up to a couple of mill! They have turned up 170 miles from me. Exactly the same items and very specific for tt bike. The seller has even brought a bb removal tool. Prob to flog the Dura Ace crankset next week...........

Man, I share the frustration. Parts of my stolen bikes are now appearing on ebay and the Police will do little as I cannot identify them with numbers etc. Whats happened to going round and having a chat with them, maybe it will make them think twice in future.

I tell the Police I believe my parts are on ebay. They do nothing. File and forget it. I understand why but its a poor system when basic investigations are not followed through.

I have kept a proper eye on all the sites and nothing yet, even parts etc..... takes about half hour of my day! Anything at all..07737335296.
Do a search on ebay then save it and it notifies you of your search in the UK. I simply have Cannondale mountain bike and I get sent ALL of them by email. Hopefully the thick fu&*^%$ dont know this and put the bike name on.
Also google regulary and if it was on Gumtree then removed it comes up as cached and at least you can see if it has gone on then been removed and also try a few different cities...
