Jb,
It's been re-listed at least twice now....think it went up to somewhere around £350.00 last time...gorgeous frame..I have one almost identical...but needing resto...the paintwork on the listed La Quelda is superb and very expensive, in particluar box lining etc...but not sure you ever get close to your money back?

Wingedangel,
I was watching that...and then..as mostly always, clean forgot about it...but I don't 'think' it ran it's course...so a deal must have been done...frame way to small for me...but thought it would have been great to transfer parts onto a Bigger frame...no idea what deal was done though?

Broux...great vocabulary you have there.....it's a universal way of measuring...S/M/L etc Must admit though...one companies Large may be extra large from someone else..and the Italian clothing such as Campag IS sized small...say perhaps compared to American sizing...
Not sure if the words C...U Next Tuesday are totally called for??...:-) not pleasant really...is it?

Hi Camden,
'Ron Cooper = king of frame makers, period, fuck Colnago, just Euro-Jewellery!'
You hit the nail on the head there...alway's wanted to say it...but thought I could get seriously flamed for it...even though it's just my opinion...(and yours too).
I have a couple of Italians's here...but am going to part with them...generally Italian frames don't do it for me...never understood the Colnago thing...or Cinelli etc for that matter...real early stuff maybe...when they 'actually' made the frames with their name on.
Who would buy a rembrandt if it was his understudy who actaully painted it?
Cooper..Hurlow..etc..made every single one of their frames.
The art in a frame...for me..is either perfect fillet brazing...or superbly handcut lugs..beautifully thinned etc...not just pressed ones covered in Chrome or fancy paint...but that's just me and you maybe?
Always drives me nut's when you talk of top end English Builders and the first name to spurt from many people's mouths is..HETCHINS...like no one else existed... yet Cooper/Hurlow/Philbrook/Ephgrave and a whole bunch equalled or exceeded Hetchins work....I met Ken Janes who used to cut lugs for Hetch...but for many others too.
I must admit I don't think too much of the uber simple and plain lugs on French frames...but i love the innovation..by the likes of Herse...Singer etc.

Camden....thanks...if it's rude not to post pics...would it be downright perfect manners to guide you to some pics of 'some' of my stable?
Wander on to flickr and you will find me (them) under jamesaudiovideo if it's of interest to you that is..sadly only half of them are on there at the mo...too many frames and parts...and I apologise for no Fixed wheel's up there (yet).
Classic lighweight Bicycles and classic time trial bikes have them grouped in their section too...(as in the flickr site)Hope you like my current 23.5" Cooper...now upgrading it's mediocre parts from Shimano 30/600 to Dura Ace...it cries out for them...
Damn this bike fetish Hobby of mine....
Regards all...
