He did well on that machine..it was on the Bay two weeks ago..with a BIN of £200.00..I kept looking at it and thinking..damn that's cheap..but do I need another machine that i can't ride (due to it's small size).
It came with a spare set of wheels..he got £98.00 for just those!..plus he has all the oother parts off it..Titanium BB etc...it's other nice wheels.

Hi there,
Just picked this up, does anyone have any info on Omega frames?
Cheers
Dpres,
I believe I can shed some light on this for you.
Omega was, I believe..Steve Ellesworth from Wetherby, a very good builder indeed..have a read here...www.mkm-cycles.co.uk/
Go to the History page and scroll down.
He built the Amazing MKM Ultimate frames(amongst many other's) Norris Lockley..a reknowned Norther Builder (also from Wetherby area) rated Steve as the best fillet Welder in the country..bar none!
If you are interested in seeing another pic of a MKM Ultimate(other than MKM home page)..have a look at my flickr under jamesaudiovideo you can't miss it..it's bright Orange.

There is..with a bit of digging a review of the tubing in the form of a two Machine test from an American Magazine..I am certain they built two identical frames..one from 731..and the other may have been Columbus El o/s or was it a later Columbus tubeset?
I researched it when I picked up a 731 o/s race bike I have here.(along with a EL o/s bike too).
