How long have Planet x carbon frames been about for anyway?

Is this stuff they're saying gospel or is their opinion aided by the fact they're only selling the expensive carbon frames?

Go OTP Dolan track champ or Fuji track Comp (which is again the same frame)

I really like the frame but the paint job is way too fussy for me.I'm a bit of an art ponce and like to keep things simple.

I'll have a look at carbon seat posts, any suggestions?

currently the price for the full set up including nice tyres, tubes, cog and chain is coming in at £1100.

I think the thing that's pushing the price up is the Mavic wheelset. I'm keen to get a good set of wheels. Are these as good as they cost ?(around £350)

I'm getting into training on the velodrome at Herne Hill, they've run out season hire bikes, which sadly (brilliantly) means i'm going to have to buy another bike.
I want to get something that i can keep using for a while, rather than buying something cheap then wanting something better straight away.

Nipped to Edwardes this weekend to have a chat about parts and came down to this list. What do you think?

• Edwardes alu frame and fork (same as Dolan Track champ with alpina wing style forks)

• Mavic Ellipse wheelset

• Miche Primato chainset

• Miche supertype seatpost

• charge saddle

• deda pista (alloy or stainless keirin bars)

• cinelli pista stem.

Interested in the mavic ellipse and condor seat post for a track build i've got planned. I've just become a member so i don't think i can do pm's yet?

Do you have the tool for replacing the axle on the wheel still?

How much use has the wheel had?
