I've given up racing, and quite possibly serious riding. In light of this it seems silly having my studio clogged up with fancy carbon stuff.
This was my race bike. It was never crashed, dropped or otherwise damaged. The bike has done about 2000 miles and the wheels about half that. Everything is working perfectly, but I plan to get it serviced - new cables and cable stops - before handing it over. It should be like a new bike.
People always say this kind of stuff, but... this is a seriously fast bike. I got 4 podiums on it last season and finished ride london in 4 hours and 8minutes. Achievements probably a bit above my ability without the mechanical doping. It's really, really comfy too. Better than my supersix - surprisingly.
It will come with the original saddle - unused - not the one on it in the pictures.
It's got full dura ace and Zipp 404/808 wheels.
There is a slight mark on the stem from the garmin mount. It will come with the specific garmin out front mount made for the bars, this cost £40 on its own!!
I paid £6000 in April last year. The wheels cost £1300. I know I'm going to take a freaking bath on this. I reckon it must be worth £3500 all in. And £2700 without the wheels.
I'm in Bromley
Cheers,

I know people always say this kind of shit, but still, it's true... this has been a fabulous bike.
I bought it new in 2012. It was an end of year discounted deal. The original price was £3800 and I think I paid £2700. That was pretty expensive for a bike with Ultegra, but this was Giants top of the line pro race frame.
For the first couple of years it was just a summer bike but when I bought a Supersix hi mod, this got retired to commuting duties. However, I continued to use this for racing as it is unbelievably agile - a perfect crit bike. I got 2 podium finishes riding it last year. It's super stiff and accelerates and sprints very well. It's also comfortable all day - I've ridden 20+ centuries on it with no problems.
I really want to just keep it, but it's crazy to have it sit unridden, I've not ridden it this year. Plus, I've just bought a set of Zipp 606 and my bank account hates me.
Good news: it rides tight as a drum and as fast as the day I got it. It's got nearly new cables, outers, hoods, chain, deraileurs and cassette. The rear wheel is an Ultegra wheel and has done about 150miles.
The bike's never been crashed.
The bad: I had a chain snap on me during a sprint at cyclopark and it caught in the front mech and put a small crack in the frame on the seat tube where the front mech attaches. I had this fixed - at a cost of £250 by Surrey Carbon repair. They did such a good job that you could never tell anything had happened and the work is guaranteed for the life of the frame. I had it fixed a couple of years ago and there has been no problem since.
The spec is:
Full Ultegra groupset,
Ultegra rear wheel.
DT Swiss Tricon front
Giant bars and stem.
Rubino plus rear tyre
4seasons on the front - both with plenty of life left.
The saddle is a brand new prologo Tirox. It cost £100 and isn't included, but I will sell it for an extra £50.Measurements:
M/L frame
56cm c to c top tube.
72cm from the centre of the cranks to the rails of the saddle. I have spacers to lift the saddle and another seat clamp which can lift it further. Or you can cut down the post to decrease saddle height. It's pretty flexible. For ref. I am 6' tall with a 32" inseam. I think you could fit 5'11 to 6'2" by adjusting the spacers and 6'3 with a longer stem and the taller seat clamp. My friend who is 6'4 raced this size of Giant with a 135 stem. But he loves to ride a small bike!
I'm in Bromley, but can meet in London if you like.
Given that I've spent several hundred quid on new bits and servicing this in the last year I'd like to see about xxx for this. But shout at me if I'm getting that wrong.
Cheers,

Very cool book/record shelves by unto this last. Sadly, they don't fit into our new place.
They don't seem to make them in the same dimensions any more. These are bigger than any they produce these days. I think we paid about £500 for them.
I'd like to get £250 for them - they are pretty much as new.
They aren't assembled at the moment so I have used a stock picture.
I'm in Bromley. I could possibly deliver locally - you will need a decent sized car to collect I reckon.
Ah, I see. Nope, you're definitely not an obsessive bike collector, in any way. Not in the least...
