lol. its getting to the point where i'm gonna have one made. lol.
I've found a Jansport bag that has everything bar the pouch for a phone/ipod on the shoulder, so i'll see if i can get a decent looking pouch to retrofit. Belk had some but were a bit big really.
Thanks ever so much for your help so far Andy, really appreciated matey.

woah thanks Andy. had a read through that link, but the only came up with what you had already posted. They all do a job, but things like the rain covers are a ball ache for me, i just want to ride home without stopping to faff with a rain cover, and the gourdon hasnt really got a specific laptop sleeve or hydration pouch.
Fuck me this is becoming a mission. The jansport site has some real nice bags, but i seem to need bits from like 3 different bags to make a perfect one. I really didnt think what i was asking for would be that obscure?? lol

hmmm, dunno if i can be arsed bringing it in from america though, and to be honest, at $180 plus the phone pouch, and the lack of true hydration/laptop pouch, its a bit on the steep side. I also already have a bag about this sort of size, and i constantly wish i had slightly bigger. :(
Muchos gracious for helping though, i'll look into whether it could be found over here. :)

Hi guys, has anyone got, or can anyone recommend where to get a decent backpack/rucksack?
I have a few wants for it too....Got to be waterproof,
ideally has a seperate pouch, or insert etc for a laptop (17")
must have a waist and chest strap
if possible be hydration compatable
and also if possible have a pocket on the shoulder strap for a phone/ipod etc.Its got to be a fairly big bag too, but with room for a laptop etc, they generally always are.
Price not too important really, for the right bag, i'll pay what i need to.
Cheers all.

hey fella,
Found loads like that, but the rain cover seems like a faff, and it hasnt got a laptop pouch or phone holder on the strap. :(
Some of the other bags i've found it seems you can either take a laptop, or a camelback bladder, but not both at the same time.
Thanks for posting it tho, appreciate it. :)
