Harry dude, i've been out sorting boxes and got loads of stuff. I'll do a post with it all in, with pics if i can make the hamster generate enough sparktricity, and obviously you'll have first dibs on it all. However, just kinda an idea, i have a GT Avalance 3.0 disc from that is fully complete, minus the wheels! lol.
Basically, i leant the wheels to a mate to use for a couple of weeks, 3 days later his bike went walkies. This GT of mine has been used for 5 weeks (another long story) so is virtually new, like the cables probably havent even stretched in yet. If you want that, i would do that for £140?
Again, its a full bike, minus the wheels, and if you have some wheels coming to you.............
This is it....

at a bike shop i used to work at, we charged a seperate price for fitting marathons for this very reason.................
Only advice i can give is use tow straps, 2 or 3 of em to keep the pressure on, and fairly liquid on the rim tape to help the seated side slide over. Otherwise, get a mate to help, by both pushing dow the sides of the tyre in opposite directions until the last bit not on is at the bottom. you can sort of stretch the tyre a small amount this way to get it on.
Last resort, a small amount of fairly liquid in a spray bottle of water to spray on the rim. Then use a rim block to clean the breaking surface when you're done, assuming you're using rim brakes. -
also, it seems daft, but dont forget to 'ping' your wheels. When you start to get some tension in your spokes, ever revolution of the wheel where you are doing 1/2 or 1/4 turns etc, put the wheel on the floor and lean on it slightly. do it in 3 or 4 different spots on each side. it lets the spokes 'ping' and find their own place as it were.

for me (i'm also industry based so used quite a few different bits its gotta be:-
soma tyre levers,
park crown race remover and setter,
kestrel engineering stand,
Facom spanners, followed closely by mac. Snap on are 3 times more expensive, and their ratchet drivers are cheese)
park cable cutters,
park pedal/axle vice grip.Loads more, but a few there that just make some jobs damn easy.

Hi guys, the upcoming project is going to need some gold detailing, so after:-
stem,
hubs,
spoke nipples (yeah, i know)
seat clamp,
cranks (i know, a longer shot than Gordon Ramsey joing the priesthood)
brake lever, RH, preferable BMX,
end caps/bar endsI'm not sure what the chances are of picking any of this up, but you never know i guess.
Cheers all, Alex
