Not seen one IRL but even with the 4 lamps i suspect it wont put out a lot of light if it's fixed to the wall. To diffuse those lamps i'd guess it's gonna be fairly opaque. I've seen a picture of one suspended from the ceiling and it threw a lot of light upwards making the space feel a lot brighter so if you can offset it from the wall enough that'll help.
If it's a clear hallway and you don't mind it being dim i doubt you'll have any practicality issues but i would normally look to pair something like that with some discreet downlights that can be switched on separately. Nothing similar comes to mind (Akari/Noguchi might have a wall light) but you'll probs have the same issue whatever you go for if you want to light with a decorative wall light only.

A while back i popped in hear to ask about upgrading my old hifi. In the ended i opted to do the amp first and Richer Sounds did me a good deal on a Marantz PM 7000N, some nice cables and an Audio Technica cartridge for my Technics 1300. Shitty Heos app aside i've been really happy with the performance and even the aesthetics of the amp have really grown on me.
Now i've just sold a bunch of things i'd like to replace my Ditton 15 speakers. The amp is used mainly for streaming music and listening to vinyl but has an optical input so we use it for watching TV and film as well. The room is something like 4.5m x 5m and the budget is £500ish. Think my girlfriend would be willing to loose her plant stands for better sound quality but i would prefer a more squat classic looking speaker so open to used/older stuff.
Any recommendations?

@hugo7 wasn't totally convinced going back to Snowfall was worthwhile but Enya's Boadicea at ******* funeral has swung it. Franklyn and Teddy still grate but some good support cast in series 6.
Looking forward to the last few episodes.

That's mega, this is still my favourite that i'm trying to steal a few cue's from.

First impressions are it looks to be a well put together/finished car that is also a bit of a Frankenbug. Personally i wouldn't be too concerned about things that can be easily unbolted/changed but agree with @lynx list, especially heater channels.
Couple other thoughts:
The spec if fairly confidence inspiring with some good quality parts. The exhaust, carbs and front suspension mods are all very agreeable. In general, original parts are best. It looks like tarty stuff has been kept to a minimum which is good cause a lot of it is crap. Don't be too impressed if there's a massive list of new parts. The quality varies massively so unless they can prove any new parts are original German quality i'd take it with a pinch of salt.
Dechroming is fairly standard for a Cal looker but the the mix of wings is a little odd IMO. You have early sloping wings and 71 correct tombstone rear lights. If you intend to keep the T bars then it's a non issue but if you want to run bumpers then it gives you a bit of a headache. Typically early wings = early blade bumpers and later wings = later euro bumpers. The bumper brackets are also different. FYI yours has slots front and rear for late model brackets and bumpers.
944 seats look great in a bug and are very comfortable but the base is significantly longer then the og seats and can make getting in out a little tricky. After you've setup the seating position for a test drive practise getting in and out of the car a few times. Also try sitting in the back with your seat in the correct for you position.
It's low. Narrow beam with dropped spindles is the way to go at the front but the rear is a little compromised. Make sure you drive it on some normal roads and find a speed bump or two.
Unless someone has made a new better quality kit more recently one piece glass leaks and is noisy. First job i would do is swap back to original quarter light configuration. Better all round and will suit the car.
Last thing, late model to early Cal look conversions are not uncommon but AFAIK have been out of fashion for quite some time and will be reflected in the desirability. Like all custom cars the money spent should never reflect the asking price as it's deeply personal and you might find that if you want to shift it the market may be fairly narrow. Good luck.

Are they nice to drive?
I'm biased but the consensus on the reviews i've seen (new and old) is that they drive very nicely. The build quality is good and the ergonomics are excellent. The performance isn't earth shattering and it's easier to tune other cars of a similar age (it was pitched against the 3 series and 190) but i'm finding the closer i get it to factory spec the better it is to drive. Having just done a trip to the Brecons in a modern 4X4 it does feel like an older car and is nowhere near as refined as modern counterparts (the Saab was expensive for the time). I am looking to bring it into the next century with a few updates but have set my expectations fairly low!

If the people on the tellybox are to believed Ferrari could be strong at the remaining races. Lando the most obvious threat but Charles equal on wins and far fewer points between Charles and Lando than Lando and Max.
Strange season when a Brit in a Mclaren is in with a shot and i find myself supporting Ferrari and thinking Max deserves the title.

@mmccarthy Ferrari to take 2nd in constructors and drivers?

Regret sleeping on this, speakers and sub gone?
