Due to redundancy I had to put all my mustang build on hold by nearly a year. A new job has reintroduced me to this beaut. Finished buff and polish last night.

Next month I’ll buy the wiring loom then I can put her together.

I justified the purchase in my head as the money wasn’t going into Behringer’s pocket. That being said, the pedal is really fun and way better than big muff.

Next on my list is an overdrive. I think I want a bd2 style. A lot pop up on eBay as well as EHX Soul Food which is supposedly a clone.

I have an EH Big Muff with tone wicker. I hate it. I can’t get it to sound anything like my favourite recordings at all. It’s just muddy.

I did just get the Behringer SF300 in the post this morning which I can’t wait to use tonight.

For the record, I’m fully aware of the Behringer controversy and I wouldn’t normally buy their stuff but this pedal was £11 on eBay. That’s okay isn’t it?

Slightly off topic but not. Have you seen you can hack those zoom pedals to have all the effects across the range? I’ve watched some YouTube’s about it.

Buying a house is a nightmare! I can only imagine how much harder it is at the moment... are you close to completion? Maybe, estate agents is a good subject for the next challenge? 😂 maybe not.

I’ve also struggled this month. I’m going to have a go at putting down a bassline down tonight and then I’ll upload it. It’ll be far from complete but you’ll get the idea.

Looking forwarded to hearing some classic DnB sounds with the Amen break. The drums are the only thing I’m happy with at the moment. I’ve been making kits from psyche rock breaks. Really dusty and oversaturated.

I have a Yamaha THR10. It’s a great little amp in general. The built in effects are good but are great if you hook it up to your computer as you can adjust them so much more as well as “change cabs” and or add compression.

It also has a dedicated acoustic channel of that’s what you want.

I got mine cheap off eBay.

Sweet man! Did you make the whole track on your phone? That’s cool. I know Steve Lacey made his ep using GarageBand and an iRig on his phone. I’d like to get a phone setup for holidays... my wife hates that I pack my sampler for holidays!

Do you ever use your Yamaha amp to record direct into your daw? I do this and feel it’s a happy medium.

You have much better control of all the amps and effects when controlling it through your desktop also.
