Hey crew
I'm about to cycle from the UK to Berlin via Amsterdam and wanted to ship a bag ahead to meet me there.
Brexit is making this an expensive and admin-heavy pain in the arse so I'm thinking of taking the bag on the ferry with me and shipping it from Amsterdam, within the EU.
Any potential pitfalls with this? Or cheaper ways to get a bag to Berlin than services like SendMyBag who all charge ~£100 for a 10.5kg bag.

Thanks @jono84 @JamesQGM - good points especially temperature. I don't do super heavy mileage - 500 motorway miles once a month and then some local trips - so I think I can probably worry slightly less about fuel economy. The car's also not bad on that front as it is.
Managed to get some CrossClimate 2 fitted for £146 each on BlackCircles, which takes a bit of the edge off.

This feels like a daft question for someone who's been driving as long as I have, but do we reckon All Season tyres are necessary in the North East of the UK?
We get a lot of rain, maybe a few days or fortnight of snow, during which I tend to avoid driving anyway.
I need some new tyres and would like to prioritise noise and fuel efficiency if I can - am replacing runflats with non-runflat

Thanks for the replies everyone, good food for thought.
On reflection I think I should stick with something cheap and easy to work with - they won't need to be used very often, but will be invaluable at the end of an upcoming trip where bikes will need to be boxed up to fly home (the lights are mudguard mounted).
Bullets, heatshrink, and some conductive grease should sort us out for the sake of this trip. DynaSnap can be a bougie option later in the year, as there's a lot of other fettling to do besides the wiring :)

Bingo.
@PhilDAS While I am no slouch they are indeed both stronger than me, I will concede that.
@Kimmo also nailed it. I've ridden a couple of more modern bikes on holiday recently and they've tainted my enjoyment of the Fondriest. The Aethos I rented has ruined me, as a mate predicted it would.
If funds allowed I'd be keeping this built up, but they wont and I wanna go faster.
FWIW my gravel bike and daily are both steel, and one of them has daft paint so I can hopefully cling on to a shred of credibility there :D

I would love a print or something as a longtime lurker/non-london person. Don't know that I fully qualify for ink but would love to have a lasting commemoration of this place.
