@edscoble...
see, that Urban looks fabby, cos the tyres go with the colour of the bike, but gum and pink/purple whateverthehell the Colnago is?
The Yellow/orange/red range, and pink, are the only colours i'd fit black to, and they look shite with amber/honey/tan/gum accessories -

@Tyronebblack and Se22
Please can either of you PM me if you want this frame. Other dibsers gone quiet again, and I leave for London (and therefore offline) in 24 hours.
Thanks -
Decal-less bikes are therefore cooler. if a bike is so gorgeous it still looks good without them, it raises the bar for everyone else.
A now-dead mate used to polish the decals of components, black them out on tyres, and even ordered a Carradice bag sans label. That was more a political gesture than an aesthetic one though, cos he painted his Flying gate yellow!
I'm gradually cutting down on decals, and no longer add them on resprays - cept the old "Guaranteed built with..." of course! No-brand is the new brand. -
Well Tiswas, the TA adapter was only a minor delay. Ive had prople never contact me back at all. If anyone had that much time on their hands, they could look through my posts at the Trek frame and the first dibsers on the Evans.
It would be helpful to let my know if youre going away though, cos the item can then be passed to the second dibser. I always try to point out on my ads about my 'double life' and when I will next be in town or offline.Anyways, you popped back up again and honoured your dibs, so there we are folks. Tiswas is ok, just a bit absent minded sometimes!
Heehee!
See you at the end of the week, with your Adapteur. -

OK, here are some pics....
In daylight, it's more original than I thought, with less paint on it! There is a tiny ding, but not really worthy of the word 'dent', and there's evidence of a crank strike on the RH chainstay, but theres so much metal there, that it's no wory either.
The frame finishing looks rough by modern standards - a real 'blacksmith's job', and its up to you how you wish to finish it. A little dressing with emery would smooth it out, but destroy the originality of it.
Incidentally, I bought it at the CTC York Rally, from a V-CC official, who verified name and maker through the frame number.
im sorry the photos are really rubbish. Its my phone, not my eyes, I hope.
The frame will be in London by the end of the week, and I can bring it to CritMass -

Thanks to Zizka for a smooth deal. The bars are now gone.
