pictures of evans track frame i used to have in this thread http://www.lfgss.com/thread40982.html
Hmmm.... looks like a similar frame but with Nervex lugs, right?
I'm wondering if it could be a Williamson Bros:

Hi,
I'm going to pick up a frame this evening and was just trying to shed some light on it's origin.
It has F.W. Evans stickers & it also has a shield saying C F Evans. The frame number is 5505 & I think it has 'Lightweight' stamped on it.
Here's a pic:
Is it an FW Evans? Has anyone seen anything similar?

P.S.
I got my Surly on scheme with help Cycle Surgery guys on Great Portland st.
They don’t have surly in stock but was able to order one. Have to wait, but in the end I got it lol.How long did you have to wait? Did cycle surgery charge anything? I think Condor charge 7.5% too, dammit.
By the way - Are the graphics on the Steamroller removable?

Thanks, I'll give Brixton a call & take a Surly for a spin.
Condor might work out quite pricey, but if you did it right first time you wouldn't have to upgrade any bits.
Yeah, this is why it's tempting. 40% off on the cycle scheme is pretty sweet. The more I think about it the more it makes sense to get a decent setup from the start. The thing I don't like about the Potenza is the graphics, and maybe the white forks. I suppose I could replace the forks at a later date quite easily. I reckon I could live with the graphics too. I think I'll take them for a spin & see which takes my fancy. I do like the idea of getting everything custom built at Condor.

Hi kevinsays, thanks for the welcome.
Cheers, the Surly looks very nice. I'll stick that in the mix. The other option is to get a Potenza from Condor & choose some good kit when they build it up, I'm worried that might work out a bit too pricey though as the frameset is £400. Anyone had any experience building a Potenza up at Condor? I searched the forum but couldn't find much.

Hi,
This is my first post. Been using this forum for the past week or two to decide which single speed to buy. It's my first ss & it'll be on the cycle scheme so wanna spend a bit extra now rather than later.
I was just wondering what the standard spec on the Bianchi Pista Via Brera is like. I want an OTP that has decent components & I've been looking at getting a Fuji Track, Langster Steel or Genesis flyer & upgrading the wheels, cranks & a few other bits but before I know it I'll have spent £700-800.
So, would it be a wise idea to just get a Bianchi Pista Via Brera which appears to have OK components? Or should I just ride a Langster/Fuji OTP & see where it gets me?
Any help would be much appreciated. Ta.
How much do you reckon it's worth? I know it's hard to say but I need to make an offer..
