1. No teams are sorted or confirmed from newcastle yet, ok chaps.
   Me and luke (THE ROOKIES OF NEWCASTLE POLO) are in a team together - Smoking Nuns- and need 1 more player. Perhaps we can play with a visitor as a 'super sub" (for no one) or any newcastler without a team after the newcastle ' A side ' have got together( Matt, tris , john, nige, steve)......

so far we have posters advertising polo in newcastle but nothing tourney specific. but thats ok coz we all know and so our visitors (i hope). A few locals are aware/ have been given a heads up. the goals have nets but no crossbar( JOHN! that pipe i had is a different bore. got thinner stuff(which will bend) or bigger stuff- either will gaffer tape up nicely so lets not worry). rules have apparently been printed out. Brackets are getting done, i think. there is a trophie. word was on saturday that 5 teams are coming down? dont know who's in from newcastle for certain.

As for teams, me and luke are happy to play in a team together as the 2 with the least tourny experience. not a b team, or a c team but way down as an 'S team'... a 'Smoking Nuns' team (we're blue skying it..)

What say anyone else.?

We still need spoke cards doing as a memento, if anyones into it? Thought i might have a crack but wont have time before saturday so the baton is rolling around on the floor about to slip under the sofa,.. unless anyone...takes ...it.......on..........

Trophie is underway as of this morn. Got some net too for goals- found it in a game keepers bag i got. Loads of nets for ferreting. All tied together. And attached to the goals. Like a goal should be. that do? Got cross bars sorted too. Will need to take your goals of you john next weekend if thats alright?

luke- its the 17th because it is replacement event for the grass tourney which everyone had in the diaries . it'll be good to see if you're as good on a saturday as on sunday or if its just a fluke..luke

Theres a post on a Glasgow site (polo or fixed) saying that grass event is postponed and newcastle is on for having SHIT3. Says matt or tristan will send more details or summat..
So we could do with getting sorted whats happening- poster, spoke cards , trophies, calling council to see if we can book court( if not letting locals know its happening(posters/flyers again), teams etc...
