Beehive pub in Tottenham is getting lots of good press http://beehiven17.com/

Only came across this thread, because of the massive dredge, but it's funny reading 4 year old comments based on the huge amount of gentrification thats been happening in the area over the last 3 years. Still edgy but seen a lot of changes since moving from Finsbury park in 2006. I'm near Turnpike Lane end of West Green Rd, so not as edgy, but definitely been incidents - but you'll get that anywhere in London. I'd recommend the place - if you want more info try Harirngay Online forum. Good luck with the search - prices are dropping now, albeit from silly levels

I'm hankering to try 52/36 chainset, any recommendations for a 68mm BSA threaded frame? I want something a bit bling as it's for an NOS System Six frameset - thinking Rotor 3D+ any other recommendations, for the chainset and BB adaptor? If this is in the wrong thread should I move to mechanics? Thansk WG

Stack and reach calculator via Weight Weenies
http://bb2stem.blogspot.co.uk/, feed the info in and you get a measurement. The only problem is it's not easy to find fork rake angles, especially on older bikes -

Harringay Online for all the latest news, but I won't be calling it "The Lanes"

Re height vs top tube length, agree on bike manufacturers and frame sizes. I'm hunting down older aluframes with the magical 505 - 515 top tube without stupid seat angles. So far giant tcr and kona kapu have been good but also after a 90s cannondale as they have great geometry and small sizes. Nice bike by the way

Got 5 quotes, came in at 16, 30 and 40, the other 2 were too expensive. Went with the Middle one as the cheap one just didn't seem realistic, and it ended up costing 21 as the builders left the job before they had finished. Golden rule pay in quarterly instalments At the end of each finished section of work. This is what I was advised by the guy doing the plans, who I then employed to do the job. Luckily I was able to remind him of this when he kept asking for early payments. Cost another 3 to get someone else to finish but most of it was done by the time they sloped off. By the way that website I linked to earlier is probably in the region of 50 upwards, so it was out of my league but great for showing the builder what you would want like and I managed to replicate one of them. Good luck, but ther are plenty of firms in London doing this type of work, if you're in North London I can give pointers
