It's a Kashimax top tube protector, to protect the paintwork from the handlebars should they swing round and hit the top tube.

Silly question but, what is that on the top tube? I've noticed it on other bikes too.

Ah my mistake, must of deleted that when i was editing. Its 59cm downtube, 59cm top tube (they are the original sellers measurements, i can double check.

Just a couple things up for sale, need to clear my room badly. Everything can be collected from E1, i will travel within reason though. I would prefer cash on delivery as i dislike paypal immensely.

Raleigh frame/forks

Bought this off ebay but ended up getting a different frame after all. I don't know about history about it at all, been resprayed somehow with Raleigh decals put on after i believe. In good nick, few scratches/chips though. Comes with a Ritchey seatpost, Campagnolo Mirage BB, and a 105 headset, also has a Campagnolo chain bash guard(?) strangely.

True, it was more of a how i will look rather than how it will look. I do need to find what works best though, you're right.

Quite tempted to try flat bars now, was worried it would look a little cack, i seem to ride on top of the stock drops all the time anyway.

Been lurking for a while but now the time has come to get rid of some stuff so here i am. Its actually quite difficult to write three posts when you know very little about cycling/bikes but i am nearly there.

Will be giving away a (really quite knackered) fuji palisade frame when i finally make it to the classifieds.
