I was considering this bombtrack before I decided two dogs wouldn’t go on... I opted for the omnium mini max wifi, and I’m still totally happy with my choice!

Dog box Mark two was a total success! They love it...! And I was petrified they wouldn’t, and I’d be back to square one. Now, I can adapt a wonderful old apple crate my friend has donated to the cause, to gat something a little more elegant!!

Cheers, but these are just fine...! It’s the transition from inside the cabin, to poking the rack out of the side cratch cover... once I get it there, I put the right side pedal in the three o’clock, and it pops out a treat! The rack is 50cms and the doors are 55cms, so that little bit of wiggle room allows it to turn enough. !

I don’t know about a train, but I can get my new mini max on and off my boat with relative ease, but it takes a bit of faffing! The pedals seem to be the most awkward, but I’ll be going from huge shimano saint platforms to diddy little M520’s spd’s.... will update! On the flip side, the dogs love it, so mission accomplished!

That’s in my boat now!!😂 the paint is not only pretty, but really well laid on.... oh, and if anyone is wondering, I’m 6’ with long legs, and am normally in a large, 57/58 road frame, and I’ve got the medium which is pretty much exactly right... a bit more seatpost exposed than that ^ photo.

Just got a mini max wifi in blurple.. I know it’s not what your after, but I was going to get the mini, for dog carrying duties, but decided it was probably a bit small for my two.... but, all I will say is that the ride is excellent! So smooth and quiet.....! I know it’s new bike feeling, so should ignore a bit of how I felt it went, but it feels planted and fast!😂

I’ve been living on my narrowboat since September, with my two little dogs, and because I won’t leave them alone for more than 30 mins or so, while I pop to the shops, I’ve done next to no bike riding of any sort... it’s not good for my mind or body, as I’ve always cycled and it’s the perfect way to relax and recharge for me....
So, I’ve bit the bullet and managed to get hold of an omnium mini max wifi in blurple!(thanks Dan!)
Yes!! To say I’m excited is an understatement, so I will be investigating dog holders like crazy, and will either buy something suitable for two little doggos, or make something.... I’m not sure yet. So if anyone wants to show me their solution or have seen something good, please feel feee to put pictures up!
