We have two courts so hopefully we have lots of throw-ins throughtout the day as well, the second court won't be perfect as we didn't have the budget to barrier off the metal goal posts that stand about 4 foot into the court. The surface however is good.
Please bear in mind that this is part of the Bristol Cycle Festival so there will be some newbies showing up to have a go, we have some loan mallets for these people and they will hopefully bring there own bikes. Please be considerate if there are newbies wanting to play. Thanks.

Is it not standard to wait until the other team have gone behind their goal to start play again? Just seems like good courtesy.
Yes but some people will dilly-dally if they are 4-0 up so the rule whereby if 2 of the scoring team cross the line back to their half of the court the concedeing team can advance. It keeps the ball in play when you have a time limited game epecially in a tournament.

I'll be there after my alleycat. A few of us are planning on car sharing to come over.
Do we need to organise teams? We always play as throw-ins here in Cardiff
At this stage you can just enter as Cardiff #1, Cardiff #2 at this point and then decide team names and players later up until the day before. It's more about knowing number of entries. Email entries to bs3polo@gmail.com

2 registered teams so far
Keep an eye on the list here: http://bs3polo.blogspot.com/

How do people register, start a list here?
Send an email to bs3polo@gmail.com . The blogspot will have a list of all teams registered and any info will also be there, at the moment there is little to read other than location and start time but as we find our feet with this info will be added.
I suspect we will have circle format to start with and then have a single elim for the 8 best performing teams.

Location has been moved to Dame Emily Park (Dean Lane Skatepark) or known to us as The Deaner
There are now 2 courts to play on and the 3rd will be left for other users of the park, we are as yet unsure whether the second court will be used for competition or throw-ins. It depends on how the day progresses.

If you are still looking, we are having our weekly evening game tonight. I'll put the word out to see if anyone is looking for a team.
