For the last two weeks Word has been slow and clunky: frequent double-entry from the keyboard, vanishing cursor, missing text, freezing, etc.
Do you edit documents in multiple windows? I.e have one document open in two windows so that you can see one section and edit another at the same time. I get those kind of issues when I try and do that.

I think it’s a no brainer to get a battery personally. Basically it means we hardly import any electricity for half the year because the battery charges over the day and then discharges at night.
It doesn’t take up that much space and you may as well get one while you’re paying for the panel installation, rather than having to pay again for installation if you realise you want one later. -

I think I know the answer to this but want to check before making a silly mistake.
I want to replace the shifter on my internally routed mtb. Am I safe to assume that the cable outer will be running all the way through the frame, so all I need to do is take off the old shifter and pull through the old inner cable with it, then put the new inner (with attached new shifter) through the existing outer? It’s a specialised epic evo if that makes a difference. Ta. -

I’ve got a front and rear pair. A bit scratched, but functional. A couple of photos at the end of this thread here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/390254/
If you’re interested I can take a better photo tomorrow.

We've got a yuba Kombi e5.
I Have it set up with some Vaude panniers permanently fixed at the back of the rack and my (7 year old) daughters seat a bit further forward so her legs aren't over the panniers.
So it does meet criteria 1 and 2.
Whether it meets 3 as well might be more of a personal thing, but I like riding mine.
4 should also be possible if there isn't a major height difference. I put a dropper post in mine to make it easier for my partner to use it. Not that she ever does.

I'd suggest both of you subbing to / posting in the mums and dads thread: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/157546/
And/or the mums and dads bikes thread: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/322577/
Both have loads of useful advice.

There are some options, but in my experience they are hard to come by in the UK.
Much more available in (surprise surprise) Holland.
I've actually got a Bobike Junior Classic that I'm not going to use if you are interested. Never fitted, though I have opened the box. It is rated up to 35kg.
There is actually a Plex thread on here, though it is mostly people swapping movies.

It’s pretty easy to set up. I think I just followed the guide here: https://support.plex.tv/articles/200288586-installation/
Though it was a few years ago.
Then install Plexamp on your phone. You don’t need to install Plexamp I don’t think, but it makes streaming music a lot slicker.
