Alright Corny. I have one, it is pretty scratched up but I'm I'm 90% sure it says 27.0, this is (semi) confirmed by my fading memory and (admittedly poor) caliper skills.
I think it was on a Marin originally and is nothing special (unbranded, a bit heavy), it's also inline, but it is 310mm (230 above the min) so should be long enough.
Unfortunately my fading memory also tells me that the reason I took it off originally is that they were recalled for some reason… Possibly because the head had a tendency to unbond itself from the shaft? It is still fine at the mo though.
Anyway, its yours for free/a beer if you want it until you can find something better.

On digging around in the bottom of my bag I've just found someone's spanner. Its got a 15ml socket at one end and a bottle opener at the other.
I can't remember who's it was but think you might have lent it to middleofnowhere (Matt?) when he was fixing his puncture, who then gave it to me to put in my bag.
Obviously we were both doing it wrong by having tools/bags, but let me know who you were and I'll get it back to you.
Sam.

Well that was fun. Not sensible but fun.
It's taken me till now before I felt comfortable to start drinking again.
So, who's the dude I owe an inner tube to?
I gave you an inner tube, but you certainly don't owe me one.
I'm 90% sure you bought me a pint in the Lamb anyway.
Nice to meet people I hadn't met before and see those again I had. Good riding and good drinking all round.

Yes. You can't get them from machines. I can't find the groupsave I mentioned before @ £27.50 I'm afraid, I must have pressed the wrong button :(
You want a groupsave off peak return to Ryde, which for 4 people is £156, so £39 each.
Sorry for getting your hopes up there. The National Rail system is beautiful and strange... It's still the cheapest way to do it as you're only paying £18 each for the return train trip in effect.
Looks like it would be slightly cheaper (£36.30) outside of a groupsave using a Network Railcard. I've got one, but am happy to do the groupsave thing to make the numbers right cos its only a couple of quid either way.

I'd like to echo all the above thanks to Skully and Skive for organising the ride and to everyone for keeping it all together. A top day out, and considering how I felt at the end of the ride I feel surprisingly fine today.
Thanks also to Chainbraker and Jim for the cake. It went down a treat with the chocolatey stout from the Devonshire Arms.

I always liked riding up Carsick Hill Rd. in Sheffield.
Nearby Carsick View Rd. is pretty good too.

In general I like it.
Velocio's first post says a white background version is easy and will come along so I'm not worried about the colours. They're kinda growing on me anyway.
Two points I would make are that it can be a bit hard to see where one post ends and another begins (this is particularly the case when viewing on my phone), and quoted text could be highlighted a bit more clearly. Overall though I like it and it is much better browsing on a phone now.
