Might of given you evil eyes because you are stood taking pictures of him and his bike?
The guy in the picture was not the one giving me the evil eye. These guys are selling bikes at London fields every weekend, I do not think that they are 'honest bikes' or 'honest people', doesn't take many brain cells to figure that one out

Im at london fields. Theres a pink/chrome raleigh here with a white rolls style saddle with white chopped and flopped bullhorns and white deep section wheels with pink tyres. Fixed. Probably stolen.
You beat me to it, here's a pic of it. The guy gave me evil eyes after taking a picture of it, so I reckon stolen!

Ok, so I've registered myself and a team under the name LPC.
To register go to: http://cyclechallenge.tfl.gov.uk/user/register
and I think you can just do a search for LPC and join... -

I know there is a team going in the genral section, but I thought perhaps the Polo lot + friends/wags/supporters might want to create their own team and if we would win any of the prices the money could be donated towards the London Open? Would anyone be interested?
To register for the London Polo Team go to:
https://cyclechallenge.tfl.gov.uk/user/register"The Cycle Challenge is a competition to see which team can cycle the most miles in a month. Teams that come top win great prizes. It’s free to enter and is a great reason to hop on your bike. If you’re already a cyclist already, why not encourage your colleagues, friends or family to join you and give cycling a try this summer."
It's based on trust that you log your miles honestly, so do!

do you know what chris gee, if I wasn't saving money for my masters, I would have had it. It's hard to find nice bike that fits little people... again I must say this, according to many male friends of mine, being a woman and 168cm is short... what more can I say?
So have another bump
Being short and looking for a bike sucks, I'm only 164cm which makes it super hard finding a lovely rode bike, or maybe I'm just being too picky... This bike is lovely and does deserve a lovely owner! If only I was a bit taller.... sigh

I think the London (and European) Polo crowd is awesome and very friendly! And they are far from any of the nasty things they've been called in this thread.
Like with anything and anywhere in this world, you got to work to make friends, at school, at work. The guys are out to play polo, like they've said in this thread, they don't know you're there and curious unless you tell them. Some of them do have some awesome bike skills - but they're not mind readers! Give them a second chance, say hi and tell them you're curious, ask them questions, ask if you can have a go. You will most likely be allowed to borrow a bike and a mallet, you might have fun and if you make an effort, you'll make some amazing new friends - not only in London but accross the world!I don't even play polo and have made some amazing friends, yes given that my guy plays helps, but I had to work at it in the beginning and make an effort. I'm so happy to have become part of their community and to be able to travel around to tourneys and have friends all over the world through it. All that because I put a bit of an effort in and said: hi!

You should post this in the Polo forum too. I'm still so angry, f-ing bike thieving c****s
