What Aggi said, we’re having to install a fire door between the kitchen diner (“kitchen”) and the stairs. Currently there is a hallway off the kitchen with the stairs coming down alongside to the far end. We need to fire door from the kitchen to the hallway to isolate the stairs from the kitchen. I’d have thought making the kitchen larger by incorporating the dining room into a single room would pass provided the stairs were behind a door.

I see Adam upsold you to some top opener conversion kits.

Seems great if you want to eventually add on all the bells and whistles like blind spot and cameras but if you just want a CarPlay display and know that’s all you will want then it seems a bit ott.

Frame done, plenty of light (north facing so indirect light) with three helix on the south roof. Plenty of storage. Plaster this week, then all the trades.

Don’t, get something like carpuride instead, comes in 5 and 7 inch versions, uses CarPlay (Apple and android), your phone stays safe in a pocket or bag. You still get all your maps, music and call control but without fucking your phone up.
Mounting options include ram ball which opens up and entire world of choice.
