3rds on the Silver Cinelli 100mm XA stem, like new, £20

My studio is just behind Angel station and yesterday there was a bunch of bike thefts.

I saw at least 4 cut locks, 2 of which are hanging on the railings at the junction of City Road and St Johns st and Pentonville road. My girlfriends bike got seriously fucked up too, front wheel completely bent and also the rear stays, the thief had obviously tried to rip the bike of the rack, gotten frustrated and given it a good kicking. (it was locked up with a Abus Granit). Most of the cut locks were cheap flex type.

Just thought i should give a heads up to everyone out there.

^ Mostly Campag Chorus, record headset. Had my last Mercian nicked, this is the replacement.

Cant fucking wait to get it up and running :)

The new (well, second hand) Mercian, just needs some wheels and bars.

Both have been given a lovely polish and had the bearings re-greased, both silky smooth! Great looking for their age, Will build up in to a lovely set of wheels.

Without trying to make it worse, why did you not use the lock buddy? 6 flight of stairs isn't that much and 2 unlocked doors aswell?

No, the Mercian was not locked, you have to get through two doors, both of which were left unlocked, its also up six flights of stairs. The lock was left around the bars, which was stolen as well! The entire reason i took it up is that i didnt want it stolen and i though that would be the safest place.

Had my 10 speed Mercian stolen from my studio hallway in Angel on tuesday, it is black with gold "MERCIAN" lettering, lugs lined in red with bullhorn bars Campag through out. Gona check brick lane on sunday, if any one sees it, give me a shout.
