@Josh thanks! I needed a double bolt clamp because the bent back bars kept slipping with the ones i had and i wanted to try out this removable canti hanger thingy.

Now with homemade brazed stem to compliment the homemade fork, rack and handlebars.

I made a nicely erected stem for my functional funbike and put cantilever sockets on the forks. Now it has plenty of gears and a nice upright position for perfectly going slow.

25.0 is the old french clamp standard. I would not try to squeeze 25.4 handlebars in. The shaft of these stems is 22.0 but if you are lucky you get a 1" stem to fit in your fork.

Have you tried it with the bars tilted down instead of pointing upwards? I discovered this to be way more comfortable and your wrists look pretty angled on your photos.

For me it is the perfect combination of klunk, fun, wank, rat and functional. Definitely a fun haver!

Here is mine. I got the frame 3 years ago with a cracked chainstay and the bottom bracket cut in half for warranty reasons. Welded it back together and it is still going strong. Next step is dynamo lighting.

Bent some new bars for the fun bike. More fun now even in shitty weather.

As those kids inevitably grow we needed a bigger frame for my daughter. I took an old Jamis frame that i found in the skip and put a new dropped toptube in. She loves it and does not want it to be painted.

I can bend and braze you one to your specs but shipping from Germany is not cheap at the moment. Price depends on finish (raw or powdercoat) and crossbar (with/without). I make them from 4130 Cromoly, 22.2 clamp size.

I bought the Muddy Fox for 18€ and the steel was under 100. Parts were all bought used so the whole build was around 500€. The most expensive bit was the facing tool for the long headtube. I had to buy it and build an extension to ream and face the mild steel tube i used. All the shops that sell those pricey cargobikes seem to just whack the headsets in and told me they didn't have the tools...
